Am gteatful to having spent my very first month, as an expat in Kuwait, at the Ibis Sharq Hotel. All of the staff members have made every effort they can to make me feel at home during this month. I got to know them by name, I felt so comfortable as if I was a family member. Chef Mahmoud's menu was exceptional, just like home cooking. Room service staff were very prompt and courteous.
I would definitely recommend Ibis any time. Must try it to believee it.

A budget friendly hotel to stay. Good service, friendly staffs.. check out for good deals on their website for long stay. Stayed here for a month, it was good. Rooms are little small( especially bathroom) but not a concern, as it is value for money. Iron box is available on request, hair dryer is attached in bathroom. Small Locker is provided for your valuables. Electric kettle ( plastic made - not recommended to boil anything in plastic container.. A plastic is plastic no matter what quality it is.) With few coffee and tea sachets.
Breakfast has a wide range and covers most of the cuisine's ( country)
Commuting is one good part.. Close to main road, be it public transport or private.
Highly recommended - For good service, friendly staff, cleanliness and maintenance and for the brand.

One of the worst hotels I have ever been to I have asked them to arrange a taxi in airport for pick up and they said they will do it and in airport they haven’t arranged anything and no one bothered to inform me . rooms are very compact.. I will never recommend to anyone

For a 3 stars hotel Ibis sharq is very convenient. the location is very good and there is a mall just behind the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the noise as I could hear the next room chats clearly. It needs noise isolation between the rooms.

Average prices of Kuwait city hotels. Rooms are always clean and cosy. Make sure you bring the minimum luggage for your short stay as the room might not have enough space. If you are thinking about a long stay, IBIS might not be the preferred place to choose. Car park is a great issue! I once spent 45 minutes looking for car park in un-secured yard next to the hotel, and ended up parking on the pedestrians pathway.

At the Ibis Sharq Hotel in Kuwait, chef Mahmoud is the king of the local cuisine. He will treat you as royalty and you palate will thank you forever. I recommend you eating there if you're lucky enough to get the chance

Great customer service and amazing food.. All night restaurant really helps when you are on a business trip and office time are odd..
Really friendly staff.
have stayed here for over 90 days In total over last year and never had any problems.
Totally worth the money.

It was the worst experience I ever had at 2 am the hotel has spelling alot of water on our room and we ask the hotel to change it. Actually I'll never get back to this hotel

That's my second time in Ibis hotels, for Ibis Sharq it's excellent but the rooms r small and parking is not enough and not shaded, which is a must in the hot weather of Kuwait.

I will give credit where it is due and Ibis Sharq was perfect.
It is the first time I have stayed in an Ibis Hotel.
The staff are friendly, the hotel and room I stayed in was very clean. Very quiet; no traffic noise, no noise from adjoining rooms or outside of room.
Breakfast was good with a good selection that you would want for a breakfast. I'm sure some previous reviews may have been expecting a full array of foods, but it is only breakfast. Hot dishes, cereals, fruit, bread, cheese was available.
Thanks to all staff involved and thanks to housekeeping staff for doing a perfect job in having the room very clean and tidy.

The rooms are really small, if you are alone you may be able to live with it, but if you are a couple, simply find another option.
The restaurant is nice and the breakfast is good. the chefs are very good but the servicing staff are not very attentive, where there are always two persons to ask me about the room number, there is hardly anyone to fill the empty servicing plates when they are empty
Internet speed is not very good.
House keeping are very good, very clean and neat
Reception is small with low tables not suitable for those who may look for a high table to do some work outside their rooms but the atmosphere is friendly and they got Starbucks coffee down there.

An amazing hotel. very friendly staff. the rooms are well prepared for the guests. The house keeping is amazing. The breakfast and restaurant is very nice and friendly. The internet in the rooms is very fast and stable.
