Dar Al Shifa is the best Hospital i have ever seen. There was a doctor named as Ahmed Sayed Zayada.. He did my Colonoscopy and Endoscopy in a very professional way. Love the professionalism in them.. His entire crew was amazing ( Kavita, Julie John, Juliean, Leelamma) Thanks a ton guys.

They have the WROST Call Center ever, I called many times in different days to confirm with them the Doctor work hours and at end when I drove all the way from home which is about 40 min away from Dar Alshifa Hospital I found that the Administrator telling me that the call center agents gave me the Wrong time so I had to wait for more than one hour and a half to see the doctor!!!

Over the years things definitely went downhill as explained below
1) Quite a few of the good doctors (dental, orthopaedic, etc) have left and the replacements are a disappointment so we just have to wait for better doctors.
2) The call centre is the biggest joke; they have no idea when the doctors come and go and often you can expect a surprise after driving all the way. To add to your surprise they'll claim the call centre called and informed you when they surely didn't.
3) The services are way below the charges.so its generally set down.

The only good side I can point out is the parking building since hawally is such a crowded area.Also the view in the dental building is awesome. But it doesn't compensate the dental service. Hope things get better.

I really liked Dar Al Shifa the first time I visit. I must give lots of thanks to Dr. Nageh Luka from the Orthopedic department for his utmost care and professionalism. However, there is an abhorrent individual in the ER department by the name Dr. Elsayed Teima who has attitude problem and does not even know how to communicate with their patient. He seems more of a street people than a medical doctor in terms of his speech and approach. Hope he does not get a long term in Dar Al Shifa. Thanks.

One of the best private hospitals I've been to. I like how the employees care about the patients and the last time I've been there, a woman was walking around with a survey book to write down people's opinions. The doctors are nice and they hear what you say not like government hospitals. It's not that crowded when I was there too. Talking about the price, well, it's too expensive if you want to do any examinations.

After suffering of illness for 3 days, nor "Al Ausaimy" or Farwaniya hospital could find out what was wrong with me, a carful check up by Dr. Mohammad Akram he found out that I have Pneumonia and not a regular cold as Al Farwaniya hospital's doctor was saying! I just hope that they lower their prices.

Very very crowded. Never going there again. Had to wait twice for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The first time was for the approval of my insurance which I did not experience any issue with it in any other private hospitals. The second time was just to let the doctor read and check my lab results who eventually left the clinic for an emergency case. So Basically I didnt see the doctor who I waited an hour and half for! They recommended that I see the ER doctor who read the report in less than 2 minutes!!!! Poor communication skills and poor coordination among the receptionists. Not going there again. I gave the second star for the easy access to the coffeeshops.
