A great hostel! Dorm was sparkling clean, comfortable shower, the entire place was nicely decorated and made you feel at home. Good location and still very quiet. Highly recommended

Lovely place. Mr. Yu is the owner, and he speaks pretty fair English. Clean, airy rooms are available. Toast, cereal, and coffee for breakfast, free. There is a 24 hour convenience store about 100m away. The intercity bus terminal is just a short 10-minute walk. Convenient parking just down the street, and the fish market is nearby. I plan to stay there every time I'm in Sokcho.

The nicest hostel I think I've ever stayed at and the best service as well thanks to Mr Yoo. As cheap as I found in Sokcho. If I tried hard enough I could find something to complain about, but instead I remain ever grateful for the experience. Next time in Sokcho, we wouldnt think about staying anywhere else.

It's a very homie place with an interesting decor. I stayed in a private room with its own bathroom. The guys who runs the hostel is affable and more than polite. What I really loved is that he sat down with us and gave us a little run around he map with major sights to see. That was super helpful! The only thing that clouded my stay is that breakfast was limited to only cereal and toasts. I think they should add a little more variety here. Everything else was perfect!

Central location close to intercity bus terminal. Very helpful host. Rooms are clean and comfortable. This place it definitely recommendable

One of the best Hostels I ever went to. The Owner is super friendly and helpful. Just make sure you pay attention while he is explaining the citymap or simply ask if you got confused during the information flooding :)

This hostel was great. The owner was very kind and spoke English like a native. He was always willing to help, even when I showed up a day early for my reservation. The owner also gave great advice and recommendations to all the travelers coming to stay. Wonderful place.

One of the best guest houses i have visited ! good location, welcoming host, lovely breakfast ! if i have opportunity to go to Sokcho again, i would definitely choose this guest house !

Three reaons why I wont go back to this place:
1) noise: there was weird, loud banging sound (heater? I dont know) that kept waking me up during the entire night. I even put on my earplugs, but it did not help. Could not sleep
2) room temperature: oddly cold I could feel wind coming from the window and the floor was not heated. Asked the owner if he could raise the room temperature. Did not help.
3) breakfast: a little disappointing compared to other guesthouses I have been to.
The service was good and so was the price. But would not recommend this place for light sleepers and those who hate to sleep in cold rooms.response / report this review -
