Conducive environment and clean. Staffs are friendly and always trying to help. The best hostel I've stayed so far.

In a nutshell, of all the hostels I've stayed in, this has to be up there as one of the best! Nice feel-at-home atmosphere, very friendly staff (can't say this enough, all smiles and cheerful people to be around), and a very comfy room setup with all the basic amenities nailed, and much more.
The only downside some might find with it is its location because it's more than just a few minutes walk from the nearest subway station (Hongkik University station). Though considering Seoul is a bustling metro, having a location a bit further from the busy streets is actually a plus for me. :)
There's also a taxi stop of sorts just a few meters across the street if ever you're not in the mood to walk, so that's a nice convenience to have.response / report this review -

Studio41st is a very nice hostel located in Mapo-Gu, just 5 minutes from the subwaystation "Hongik University" away. On your way to the subway station you'll find a lot of 24H-markets such as GS25 or Family Mart, korean restaurants, pubs, nice bakeries like the "Pourtoi" or "Tous Les Jours", several beauty shops and many, many more. So it can be the prefect place to start exploring seoul.
The management of Studio41st is great and they have the key ingredient to providing extraordinary service - you'll be provieded with information not only about Seoul – what to do, eat and where to go - but also about other cities in Korea - how to get there, accommodations and more. In addition free breakfast, laundry, internet access and Wi-fi will be provided.
They also handle bookings for the "D.M.Z tour", korean traditional stage and korean showcases (non-verbal show like Nanta, Jump).
In the morning a guide will pick you up in front of the guesthouse when you book the DMZ tour ;)

- Clean and Cozy place
- The 3 managers (Moon, Barbara and Gaya) and Mr Lee were very helpful, friendly and always there to help ^^
Cheery and happy people! :D :D
- Guesthouse is very convenient, about 5-10 minutes walk to the subway which is very near the Airport station as well.
- Located at one of the most happening places in Seoul!
- With a cozy and convenient place to stay, hosted by friendly and very hospitable people, what more can you ask for! :D Will definately go back there when i visit Korea again!response / report this review
