Looks good on outside and inside. Rooms need serious updates and are small. Too many little annoyances to recommend to anyone used to higher standards IMO.

Olympic Park, 88 Olympic Memorial Hall, Jamsil Lotte World and Hyundai Asan Hospital in close proximity. The Parktel also has youth hostel facilities for young people and is considered suitable accommodation for young people, families and businessmen.

The rooms and facilities are decent, or really good if consider that it was built for the 88 Olympics. The location is great right on the west side of Olympic Park. Transportation is either calling a cab, taking a bus or walking about 10~15 mins to the closest subway station. Seoul is best navigated by subway so this is a bit of a minus on intemperate days. The service is friendly but not great. And definitely do not pay to eat the morning breakfast buffet, it's way over priced and lacking in so many ways.

This hotel should not be a luxurious hotel. Some limited facilities is encountered such as lack of body soap, shampoo, minibar contents, and comfortable bed. The breakfast was good for a group student excursion team. This means quality was not superior level. Just solving your hunger would be good. But the best merit is the surroundings. You can go out for a walk through very nice park on ancient historical heritage. Also a nice museum locates around. Please don't forget to take jogging facility.
