The host and staff were very friendly. They would help you with your queries and make you feel welcome. Made some good friends during my short stay there. The location is pretty good, some places of interest are easily accessible by subway. dj and ella make really delicious food :) Overall, it was a comfortable stay and I had fun.

very lovely place to stay. It has very peaceful neighbourhood. It is the best hostel if u want to have a relaxing time enjoying your vacation. and also very2 near to Bukhansan National Park!

I really loved Bibimbab lunch, i could try Korean food in there. Super friendly staff CJ, I will be missing you and definitely visit here again for the next chance. Close to subway station and downtown in Seoul, 300% highly recommendable place ever. Turn up !!

The best hostel ever!
I am a Korean who's studying English in Seoul.
However, there are not many places I can use English all the time in Korea.
This August, I chose to stay in the guesthouse even though Seoul is my hometown.
I've been staying in the Pencil 5 since August, and I met a lot of nice people from all over the world. My English is getting better!
Especially, I appeciate to the owner and the staffs of the Pencil5 who take care of me all the time.
I wish a lot of people from all over the world come to the Pencil5 and have fun with us!

Pencil 5 is a great hostel, I really enjoyed my stay here. I came alone and got many new friends during my visit, and also managed to learn some useful korean phrases from the kind staff^^ The staff is very welcoming and happy to help anyone in need. The bedrooms are nice and comfy and the shared areas such as kitchen is very clean and contains all things useful. I loved staying here, and would without a doubt recommend it to anyone, especially my friends. 감사합니다 Pencil 5 :)
