The buffet at the hotel was delicious. The selection of meats and other foods from sushi to pho was fantastic. Everything tasted great, as if it were specially prepared and not just mass produced for buffet.

Fantastic locations! The hotel is connected to a gigantic areas from a luxurious retails and famous department store; it is also connect to the popular and affordable shopping street. Plenty of locate delicious and up-class restaurants, fusion or authentic foods are available. Full of adventures and you can literary speeds days here to explore. Plus, it's fully sheltered so its all weather.

The services and hotel ambiance are great! But have questions on your billing statement. There are separate daily charges for each item such as: accommodation; room charge; service charge-manual; service charge and room tax. Can you please explain what these are? It would really help me understand and recommend the hotel to my co-workers if we know what each charge is about. Thank You for your assistance.

Truly a 4.5* hotel. Service is prompt, detailed and courteous. They go the extra mile to make their guests happy. Elevators are a little slow (not enough for so many floors) which is pretty much the only complaint. Location is amazing as it is centrally located and right next to one of the big department stores in Shinsegae. If you are a gold member and are lucky enough to go to the executive lounge make sure you are there for breakfast and happy hourdefinitely one of the best executive lounges among mass chain hotels.

Nice hotel in Seoul which is about 1hr drive from Incheon Airport.
Hotel has 4 restaurants and cafe lounges. It also has dine in facility 24hrs.
Nice ambiance with helpful hotel staff makes you stay better.
Hotel has one of the best health clubs with swimming pool.

Hotel is very nice, but the reservation service was not very helpful when it came to the executive lounge. I was staying there for a work related meeting and all of my colleagues had access to the lounge except for me, since I was added last minute. When I asked if I could be added to the executive lounge I was told it was full, but i could purchase access to it, which didn't make sense to me. Still a nice hotel though!

I'm a platinum member who comes out to Seoul a few times a year and I stay here & at the Ritz Carlton in Gagnam (which unfortunately was under renovation when I first arrived). I've been coming out for over eight years. Unfortunately this stay here has been very disappointing only because of the executive lounge. They usually run out of food & can't seem to handle the different influxes of people. During the holidays, it's even worse, you can't even get in. As a platinum member the lounge is supposed to be a perk but what does it matter having any status when you can't use all of the benefits? You think they would try to accommodate you during these times and offer a voucher for you to use one of their other restaurants onsite. This trip was very disappointing. Unfortunately it will be my last stay here due to that. I will definitely be going back to the Ritz or maybe even the Hilton since they match your status with your Marriott status.

Great Hotel, great staff and great facilities. Will love to stay here again. The hotel is situated in the Gangnam area, so short taxi ride to Seoul downtown. It has great breakfast, lunch and dinner options. We tried both the executive lounge breakfast and the cafe breakfast on the second floor. The cafe breakfast buffet had more variety.
There is a swimming pool in the basement with a sauna and spa. The hotel is also connected to a shopping mall. The express bus terminal is right behind the hotel too which is also a subway stop. There are plenty of eating options in the mall and downstairs in the hotel and outside the hotel.
All in all, a great place to stay while in Seoul.response / report this review -

My go-to hotel every time I'm in Seoul. The friendly and efficient front house staff ensure a consistently terrific experience from initial check-in to checkout. Fresh fruit and a handwritten note are a welcome personalized touch. Rooms are thoroughly serviced by the housekeeping staff, always a fresh aroma and spotless. Executive Lounge and 2nd floor restaurant are both superb. Highly recommend this outstanding property.

The staff at the hotel are just incredible, very happy to help. Lena actually took the time to walk me to the cinema and help buying tickets. The afternoons in the club include a good selection of food and drinks and breakfast is also good and the views are brilliant. The returned in the hotel a fantastic and highly rate. But of you after like me and want to explorer then the location is great, over the road from a beautiful park for walking or jogging. Short walk to the old French quarter with great restaurants and bars. All very safe to walk around at night. The express terminal gives you access to buses and trains so traveling around is very simple, Google maps does a good job of helping with the right platform etc. Ok I'm raving, but this really is good. :)

Great service and great rooms. Gym was amazing, plenty of equipment, pool, indoor golf range, nice locker room. No need to bring shorts, t shirt or socks they have ones you can use. Next time in Seoul ill stay here.

Classy, Great for Shopping, but Better Places and Locations in Seoul.
Certainly great service, amenities, cleanliness, etc. The club lounge is good for working, but not for food: very standard breakfast, but not even real eggs so can't have scrambled eggs (it's "liquid egg"), no food of substance during they day (some nuts).
Rooms are a good size, but very conservative and even a little tired. The big plus of course is that it's inside the shopping mall, the bus terminal and has a connected subway station. Yes, it also has a very nice pool.
However, I believe the best secret to staying in the Marriott family in Seoul is The Plaza Seoul at City Hall. See my review.response / report this review -
