Took my family here for vacation. Told them to stand next to a monument and they got gunned down. Horrible trip experience! 3 stars for the starving slave waiter at the bar across the river

If you're ok with sleeping in a room filled with hidden microphones, this is the place for you. Nice room, hardly any parasites or holes in the wall (there are a few, but that's to be expected). Honestly, once you get passed the fact that there DPRK government agents watching you with tiny cameras, it's a very relaxing hotel to stay in.

This Hotel was great! The 10 year old children serving my breakfast were very kind to me. Unfortunately there was something wrong with one of the kids after she asked me a question. She was taken into the hallway near the lobby by a man with an AK47 and I think they dropped something because I heard a big bang. Anyways, the hallways in the hotel were pretty nice and clean except for the one near the dining hall where I ate earlier. When I asked what happened, they told me that they apparently spilled a bucket of red paint and they had to clean it up which was weird because the paint looked very thick and coagulated like blood, but it must have been one of been a North Korean Brand Paint. Later that day I saw that one kid from the dining hall who asked me the question about clean water in America was being brought out on a stretcher. I asked the medics who were also carrying AK47s and had blood on their shirts what happened. Unfortunately the little girl fell down the stairs punctured multiple bullet looking type holes in her chest. Besides that tragic event, they were very kind to me and gave me a cool microchip to put in my arm after I left. I had heard a rumor that it can send an electric shock that could cause a seizure. But I'm pretty sure that's just bad talk about North Korea. The friendly guard with an AK47 told me it was some type of precaution in case someone says something dishonest about the HotelAHgagpkagpejbvnkajdkf

Rather average hotel - i still give it 3 stars since the bar is pretty cheap and they always have enough parking space.

Kim and his regime keep this city looking good but as soon as you step out its nothing but poor people you cant photograph terrible hotels out here tv is fake broadcasts. The US will take care of kim and free all of you so you know the truth about the world and how america or any other country is good.

Seems that this hotel is mostly for Chinese businessmen, but a few westerners stay here as well. The rooms on the first floor is the best. Breakfast is ok, nothing fancy. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The store has things from the west (cookies, soft drinks, chocolates and other stuff).
The hotel has a pingpong room, hairdresser, a pool room, a book store, 1 bar (1 beer 50 us cent), 1 cafe, and 2 restaurants. Possible but expensive to make international calls. And yes, the rooms do have color tv´s. We got BBC international and 2 local channels.

Very very bad hotel no color tv with the net work with fake news, no televised channel of North Korea shooting off rockets towards South Korea ,Japan or United States they need to,televise that, I think I saw cock Roaches all of this I observed from the photos so in summary get the fake news net work, put on late night tv shows obrian,Fallon etc show some good base ball games you might get four stars from my photo view next time.

This is about as good as it gets in North Korea. Nice but sober. Bedrooms are a bit small (6 x 9 ft) and I'm not sure why the architect wanted bars outside the windows. Strange detail is that the looking glass is on the wrong side of the door. Stupid!

I saw the great leader walking in the street from my 2nd floor dormitory. The sight of our glorious leader took my mind off the dead slave child in the sleeping box, and the air conditioner that blows out asbestos.

The Taedonggang Hotel is a must stay for the savvy international traveler! To insure a maximum experience make sure to book a room overlooking the Haebangsan Bridge. There, if you're lucky you might catch one or two Pyongyang citizens leaping to their deaths due to starvation, oppression, torture or any number of dehumanizing events currently in vogue with by the current despotic leader.

all in all a good stay saw Kim! So that was cool. I had some delious dog but i had to bring my own R.I.P Rover you will be missed even tho it was delious.all in all fansatic stay was raped multipal times in concentration cmap no.27.

Pretty sure I saw Kim Jong FattyFat enter a hotelroom here with a 10 year old boy. I think that they listend to whale music for 30mins. Called reception to complain, only to discover that the receptionist had starved to death, shame really, was a nice lady. There was a fresh, aromatic cup of nescafe and two pieces of canned fruit for breakfast the next day, to recive this I was charged 30€ and had to recite Kim Senior's biography. By then it was dinner time and I thanked Kim Jong FattyFat for this generous meal. The waiter pounced on the juice left on my plate. I was still a bit peckish, so I decided to eat a piece of wall sprinkled with dead flies like the locals, not to bad as a matter of fact. Will return when I am relesed from camp no. 18
