Sponsored by many NGOs, this small mangrove community has well-managed and run. You can rent a boat which can contains 5-6 people(15$ roundtrip to visit mangrove plantation). There are also available bungalow and restaurant offering good price and acceptable taste.

This is such a good community concept that offers you very interesting travel packages to discover and do the mangrove tree-planting activities in the sea. You will need to take 20mn trip by small boat of 5-10 people or 15-20 people to reach the planting location at the sea. A good place to recommend to those who love the sea and the nature, especially the tree-huggers.

Come here visiting and saving the mangroves! Staffs are very nice here:) if you want a meaningful and educational weekend, here's the place to go. They are offering fishing, kayaking, mangrove seeding and planting activities. If you choose to spend a night here, in the camping hut, they may offer you a tour for seeing fireflies!

A good place for visiting Kaong Kang forest in Kampot province.

It was very interesting place among the other places in Kampot, to stay a period of time to get a fresh feeling of seaside. All the rooms are made by Jak's leaf (Jak is a kind of tree grew along the seaside or river) that make you feel completely don't need the air conditioner with a very affordable price only 8$ per night.
You can ask the staff for board trip to visit the big big part of the sea and some interesting places between Cambodia and Vietnam conflict area or spot point of sea border etc.
But the road is a bit heavy to get through by vehicle, moto bike or bicycle in raining season.
I have been with my wife and little daughter and it was fun and enjoy too much :)
