We tried some local food at the bar restaurant; Amok and Khmer Curry, very delicious and reasonable price. Staffs are also friendly.

Nice hotel. You get what you pay for. Nice and helpful staff. I loved the dogs and children running around. Rooms are pretty clean, with a bed and a hanger, tiny tvnothing more. Could have been nice to have one chair or something more to put your stuff/clothes on/into.

Great stay, clean beds with your own fan, nice bar with plenty of options, healpful staff that can get you whatever you need. Also a nice pool if you're too lazy to get to the river. If you get a chance check out the local Cambodian band that plays there every once in a while.

My next time in Kampot, I'll go here again! I went to the same location about 3 years ago, and it was OK, so I wanted to go back. It was very different now and has gone from OK to absolutely excellent. Rooms are cheap, there is a nice vibrant bar, and an excellent swimming pool - and still the rooms go as low as $10 (they just re-opened, and a dorm option is coming next week, they tell me). They are doing a lot of new things right now, so I don't know what new features they have when you arrive. I do know it will be great, though.
