Loved this little temple that is being taken over by nature! Its also far enough off the beaten path that there is no one there! Makes for some great pictures!

Picturesque sandstone and laterite tower in a cool, shaded forest setting, in the area behind the Terrace of the Leper King. The central tower is in rough condition but the eastern gopura displays some particularly nice Buddhist-themed carvings. The date of construction is a matter of some debate. Traditionally dated to the late 12th/early 13th century, but the Theravadan Buddhist themes of some of the carvings and some architectural features suggest a construction date in the late 13th or 14th century. The tower was rebuilt and modified in the post-Bayon period.

A very nice temple with vegetation crawling up. The place is much more quiet than the other temple in this area. Definitely worth the extra walk.

Gorgeous quiet temple which seems to have come out of a Tolkien novel, Preah Palilay is a secret little site filled with seasonal butterflies, moss and moods that changes beautifully.

It's an isolated ruined Buddhist temple, mostly in rubble with two bug trees growing out of it near the entrance. The ruins quite a pretty sight, especially with the surrounding wilderness. There is nothing else here to see, except for a few detailed seven headed snakes on the ruined balustrades.

Excellent place to be seen. Some sections of the pediments have been packed off for safekeeping, others are resting along the soil. The visible parts show Indra on his mount, the elephant Airavata, and the assault of the demoniac army of Mara.
