This is my go-to when I travel to Kisumi, usually 2-3 times a year. The staff are very friendly and warm, and its a great value for the costs. Strong brewed coffee, they also have french press.

However, here was an issue with the hot water, which seemed to be a general problem that needs to be addressed (I think they might rely on solar water heating and its rainy season).

Yees, this is one if those places where the receptionists and staff make you feel at home.. great accommodations, good prices, friendly staff, good ambience.. ohh yes delicious food. One if the places you would love to checkout while in kisumu..

i had a very good time at this placebeing my first time in Kisumu.THE FISH..OMG the fish was the most scrumptious fish i have ever eaten. the rooms are clean and the service is good.

New hotel, it's clean and well run, staff are professional, facilities are modern and the food is good too. At the price, the place is excellent value. Downsides - missing some conveniences like a concierge, hot water ran out one morning and the access road hasn't been tarmacked so it's a little bumpy. But doesn't take away from the overall great experience.

I was getting sick during my stay in Kisumu and kindly asked for a late check out to recover a bit. The guy at the reception told me they would grant me a late check out without charging extra. When I wanted to check out later that day they changed their mind and charged me for half a night extra. I tried to argue, but even the Manager did not agree with me and eventually I was feeling to tired and paid, telling them I would put this as a review online. All of a sudden the Manager changed his mind and offered me to refund the Money. However, money never came back to my credit card (one month later).

Quality: Quality of the hotel overall might be okay for the rates, however, f you are used to any kind of standard look for another place.
