Good, cosy and quiet place for both indoor and outdoor dining with lush landscaping and a shimmering lake view.
The meals are amazing and the variety is breathtaking. Real coastal sea food is served here.
Amazing grounds overlooking the lake ideal for outdoor events with amazing views.
You can also get luxurious boat cruises into the lake.

Nice view of the lake,not so friendly staff, we were asked not to sit on the platoon outside but others would be allowed there. We had to ask over 4 waiters for cushions for our seats.I was served lime juice when I asked for a lemonade. The samosas were burnt and very tiny. The sausages were also burnt one even burst open. No signs leading to the place, got lost severally.

I'd recommend it if you're looking to get a whole lot of striking photos of the sun setting over the lake. It's really relaxed with a bar and a restaurant and a pool. A lot of people here either stay there or just come in for the pier and the view.

This is a beautiful place that is located right next to the beach. Went to check it out on a family trip. Came in the afternoon and in December so you can imagine it was quite full. Took us a while to find a place to sit but it's possible. If you are a big group you can reserve a table so you don't wait for long. Would definitely recommend for swimming and spending time by the lake. Families are also welcome, there's a baby pool for the kids.

Perfect perfect perfect. I loved every bit of it. Beautiful bay, beautiful sunrise, beautiful sunset, beautiful rooms, beautiful everything.
Though improvements need to be done to customer care.They are an overwhelmed lot during peak season giving first priority to whites and Asians took an hour for us to be tended to.I think the whole of Kisumu needs to rethink about their customer service.

We had a wonderful time staying at Kiboko Bay. The management ( especially Dean) and staff ( Faith) are very professional and friendly. We felt very safe and sincerely cared for. A beautiful resort and great food. We plan to return when we visit Kisumu again. We would recommend this place.👍

I love this place. That’s why when I’m in Kisumu I try to make time to have a meal here despite the treacherous road one has to deal with.

This place is right on the shores of Lake Victoria where you can spot a hippo or two. They are used to curious on lookers. The staff are friendly and are open to chatting about the ups an down of Lake Victoria hyacinth. Informative staff are always a plus.

The food is good and affordable. There are a number of options for where to eat. There’s a dine in option, deck option, poolside and lake view option. I like to dine by the lake.

The food takes a while to appear so you have to kind of charm the staff and not treat them like robots. It works for me anyway.

There’s a kiddie pool and a regular pool.

The accommodation are tents on stilts if that makes sense. I haven’t spent the night there so I can’t say much more than on their outward appearance.

Sunset at this place is the piece de resistance.

Great place to invade with a bunch of friends on a random Saturday afternoon.

It's a good place to spend evening if you are not staying here. The view of sun-set over lake Victoria is awesome from here. You might also see Hippos in the lake (we saw the family of Hippos)

We recently had dinner at the deck. The deck has a safari style ambiance overlooking the lake which provides a spectacular view of the lake. The staff were pretty helpful. They gave us a child's high chair when we asked. I ate fish and chips and the fish was well seasoned and the accompanying tartar sauce was very tasty albeit, they forgot to bring it when they brought my order. My date had pepper chicken which he enjoyed seeing as he didn't remember to let me taste it as he usually does. At some point a hippo got out of the lake to eat some grass which was really cool. The downside is the very aggressive mosquitoes but then again if we ate indoors, we would have missed the hippo. I suggest covering up and bringing repellant for eating on the deck after sunset.

This is a very nice place, considering the road to get there. The food is very nice and Tasty. I frequent this place often. They have rooms and full accommodations. You can also take a pontoon ride on the lake if you wish, the pontoon boats are imported from the United States. Also there is a swimming pool that is wheelchair accessible.

A wonderful spot for a sundowner over the lake. Food was fantastic and the beer was cold. Service was good too. Must visit if you have time in Kisumu.

Perfect place to enjoy views of the great Lake Victoria. The restaurant has good food, variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. If you need the perfect sundowner with abit of jazz music in the background - this is the perfect spot.

Not only is the food great here, but the view is just breath-taking. Definitely one of the best resort in Kisumu. To top all that off there are even motor boat rides around the Lake varying from 30 minutes to even an hour. One of my best experience in Kisumu.

I ate here probably 15 times now and the reason I give this place a 5 star rating is because of their sirloin pork-chop oooh man that is the only thing I always get when I go there, and it is also bordering lake Victoria, beautiful sunsets and a cool breeze, also elegantly furnished tents to stay there if desired.
