You walk into Kisumu Impala Sanctuary, the peaceful jungle environment punctuated with the wild animals and a paved walk in. In your mind, you are away from posh hotels. You feed your mind and soul to the beauty that nature has to offer. Then you get the shock of your life, a Paradise, sophistication married in to nature creating a perfect blend.

Impala Lake Victoria Lodge ,built with eco friendly materials. The entrance is through a wooden bridge with a thatched roof leading in to the main lobby made of a tent like structure, the elegance inside of which you can't get enough of. From the main lobby you can choose to move down to the tented swimming pool side, that is close to the lake.

Here there are tables and chairs set where you could have your cocktail, or meal as you watch the rippling waves of the lake and the refreshing breeze. The staff here are very polite and professional. Grass thatched cottages are also available offering quality accommodation with good ambiance.

A gem in the city. This place really blew me away mainly because I stumbled upon it while at the KWS Impala Park.

This is a well designed lodge in keeping with nature. My first thought when I walked in was this is the kind of place to host my wedding :)

The place is on the shores of Lake Victoria with very serene views. You can have a meal by the floating deck over looking the water. It’s not big of a place but it’s a nice getaway.

The rooms are spectacular! Positioned just on the edge of the Lake you literally wake up with sweeping views of the Lake. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and fitted with the usual necessities.

This place is really tranquil and took great advantage of their location.

I appreciate their use of wood versus concrete it’s really in keeping with the theme of environment friendly.

The staff is great, very welcoming.

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants the full Lake Victoria experience.

Impala Eco Lodge is one of the nicest places I've been in Kisumu so far. Very friendly and professional staff, very clean and such beautiful lodges. I highly recommend staying there, if you feel like you need some time off.

Hidden gem in Kisumu as it is inside the park (Impala Sanctuary) with a very breathtaking view. The waiters are quite professional and this quite a good place to spend with friends and family. Views views views are to die for.
