A very neat place. The cheapest room is USD 65 bed and breakfast. They don’t offer meals for lunch and dinner. The rooms are fantastic and modern. There is a very good lift and have a room for ironing. The hotel does not have laundry services. The front desk personnel are very helpful but room rates are not negotiable. The hotel is right in the CBD of Kisumu and very convenient.

Clean High Class rooms. Great breakfast. Amazing interior design. Beautiful and comfortable study desk. Great lighting. Great toiletries. Clean bed sheers and towels.
Disadvantages
Squeezed. Small room. Some Noise coming from surrounding clubs/discos. Few towels in the room. They do not offer dinner.
Overall - I will go back to Imperial Hotel Express again and I recommend itresponse / report this review -

Location. Location. I love that this hotel is right in the middle of town, Oginga Odinga Road. The booking was quick and efficient never mind being very last minute about it. The hotel doesn’t have a shuttle from the airport but they organized a nice taxi to come pick us up.
Check in was hassle free. Staff is friendly and helpful. After I got to my room I had to pop back out just across the streeet to Choppies Supermarket for some ‘vino’ :).
This hotel is located near two really loud night clubs but you don’t hear the noise much once you are in your room.
The hotel room was a good size nothing felt too tight in our double room. I appreciated that. The hotel service is good and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The AC came in handy for that Kisumu heat after a long day out. I did not watch much TV but I noticed they had a DSTV package.
Breakfast was fantastic. I ate enough to skip lunch :)

Putting classy and affordable in the same sentence is usually hard. But Imperial Hotel Express have actually pulled it off. Very easily accessibility to malls and restaurants since it's in within Kisumu city.

Imperial Hotel Express Kisumu is conveniently located in close proximity to the Kisumu International Airport, major Banks and shopping malls. The ambience is good. What I loved most are the rooms which are very well appointed and ideal for both business and leisure travellers.
