Mater services are average but may be deteriorating over time.Their cost is far much worse if you have an insurance cover.They will always ensure they reach your maximum limit.

Poor-Fair and ridiculously expensive. This should be renamed the Mater Pecuniae Hospital (Mater Misericordiae --> Mother of Mercy, Mater Pecuniae --> Mother of Money) because one always gets the feeling that they want squeeze every last cent out of you. When a friend of mine was admitted there, the doctors arbitrarily extended her stay and the bill ballooned, but that's not the worst of it: someone I know is living with an enlarged liver because of a botched biopsy that was performed at this establishment. Apart from that, and the fact that it can take 4 hours for you to get admitted, they're great.

Very unpleasant, they hiked the bill in a day and came up with so many procedures that were unexplainable.
The doctor delayed the stay in considerably, I have to say its a money making institution not a caring one at all. Plus the staff were rude when you are inquisitive.
