It's a challenging yet easy mountain to climb, it's a great opportunity to also bond with fellow hikers, share and build new experiences.

A beautiful breath taking place. A wonderful place to bring 👪 and friends for a day out and hike. Quite a physically demanding hike. A fun place to be.

The 2500m-above-sea-level hill climb was epic. The 14.8 km walk will definitely break you before it makes you. Make sure you have the right gear before embarking on the challenge.

Hiking at its best at an altitude of 2950m and round a rim of 7.2kms. Give a good site of the rift valley floor and escarpments. Enjoy the magma stones dust amidst hot air. Exercise your body and perfect your hill climbing skills. All at affordable prices for all; citizens, residents, and non-residents. Additionally, you get a chance to see wild animals such as zebras, antelopes, gazelles, and girrafes.

Lovely hike not for starters who are unfit. my advice try to start your hike before 8am otherwise you will have a hill and a blazing sun to slow you down. Chance you will see some zebras and gazelles and luckily did not see any bufallo! If you don't feel too fit you can just hike to the top, if you feel up-to task go round the greater, that's where the fun is.

Moderate but not so moderate if you are planning to circle the rim. 3 km to the rim and 7.1 km around the rim. Beautiful scenery on your way up.The rim is not flat and has some up and downs to get to ngamia which is the highest point of the rim. Go to the right once at the rim for an easier finish because the right side is more steep while the left half circle of the rim is a bit level. Must be fit to attempt.

Those who don't to go to gym everyday can climb once a fortnight.7.2 Kms round the rim is a must to experience fully.Total 4 to 5 hours climbing and walking depending on individual stamina

Had an amazing time hiking the mountain. YOU will get to pant now and then especially when you are almost at the top because of the steepness. But at the end of it all,it will be worth the climb once you get to see the spectacular view. BEAUTIFUL

Nice path, very easy to follow (no guide needed). 1h15 to reach the crater, 2h to tour the crater and 45 min to go back to the main gate. We recommaend to start early in the day to avoid heat. It is sad to see so many plastic waste on the crater though

Lovely hike, but it's not for the faint of heart! Also, please, please, folks, don't throw your trash out along the trail! There are bins to put your empty water bottles in! Use them!

A nice place to hike and unwind as you watch the natural environment around you. It can also be quite a task getting up and round the crater, but the feeling of accomplishment is worth it.

Fantastic view and experience. The first part is easy just steeply 30 degrees at the end. The second part quite easy because is flat and the last part the hardest with 30 to 40. Recommended to go early in the morning so avoid the sunniest hours.
