    Short drive from naivasha Town.
The food here is excellent(try their excellent selections of pizza), and pocket friendly.
The staff is professional and friendly.
The views from the cabins are amazing as they face the lake and the sunset view is amazing.
    I highly recommend the place

This is an excellent place to stay for see hippos. They come close to the camp at night. One of my best Kenyan experiences to date.

The camps also offer boat trips along the shore of the lake. See attached photos.

There is a bar / restaurant on site that has excellent food and cold beer. The ambience and seating is relaxing with the added bonus of WiFi.

The waterfront camping at Carnelley's is a beautiful location. We were pleased to find ourselves situated among several other families in a very inviting atmosphere. There seemed to be other louder guests at the restaurant early in the afternoon and evening, but it wasn't a problem at night. The restaurant on site has amazing food and the interior design of the place is stunning. You can tell people enjoy coming to just hang out and eat/drink at all hours of the day. My kids love the boat dock and easy access to see the lake and hippos. There was even a young hippo that came walking toward the fence in the evening and we were able to watch it under a spotlight. To our delight, we weren't bothered by monkeys during our stay, but we've heard they've been around for others. Our biggest annoyance was the duck that perched on a tree overhead early in the morning and woke everyone up with its yacking!

The camp is great, very relaxing. There is couple of different bungalow size and price. You can also bring you tent.
    Showers and toilette are clean.
The place is very beautiful and the restaurant in the camp is the best of the area. (and not so expensive) I truly recommend the place.

Very lovely place with a great view of the lake. Perfect for camping. Close to a small town centre where you can get camping amenities. Very silent and the restaurant has really amazing food

Great location - you can see hippos at night on the grass, the warning signs are not there for show. Boat trip from camp was good seeing lots of hippo and birds. You have to ask for your guide to throw fish for the fish eagles but the sight of the eagles taking fish from the water is amazing close up. We had a Banda with a double and two single beds all with nets. Beds comfortable and ask slept well. Bathroom basic but shower very welcome. Veranda was very comfortable with huge cushions. Couple of electrical points for charging everything were useful. Included breakfasts were good. Food at the restaurant was not brilliant but adequate.

The place to stay in Naivasha! Awesome bar and restaurant! The restaurant can get busy on occasion but the food is certainly worth the wait! Mostly we didn’t wait at all Accommodation in tents, dorms or bungalows on offer and the location is paradise! Take a boat ride on the lakeStunning!!!! Highly recommended!

The location is idyllic, really green and lush. Great photo opportunities. Very close to the lake and plenty of activities like bird watching, fishing, boat rides among other things. There is a campsite too but that was a bit Small and seemed crowded when I was there this weekend.

The restaurant is also great and the variety quite impressive. They have proper pizza, I mean proper pizza made in a brick Wood burning kiln. The pizza was amazing but I will say that Anchovies, capers and dark olive toppings were not my favorite as a local. But that's my fault.

The service was prompt and the staff are very professional. I was shocked and mortified that they DO NOT take cards, you have to PAY CASH! No Wi-Fi at their restaurant so you have to talk to each other at the table. Who does that? Lol.

All in all I loved the place. International crowd with a really lively atmosphere to accompany the authentic African decor in their restaurant. I don't know if they ever have live music, but it seemed like a great place to have that.

Excellent location. Wonderful views. The restaurant was good. We pretend to camp with our own tents but it was raining so much we had to stay in the dorm. The dorm had clean floor but the linen was not clean at all but it was night and there were nobody to change them. I will prefer to be in my tent. I don't recommend the dorms at all. The camping site seemed to be much better option but we only stay 1 night

Always a nightmare at the restaurant! Serious queue.
The rest is very confy. Bandas, areas for camping near the lake. (Fenced for Hippos btw)
Unfortunately, no possibility to cook in the bandas so sticking with the restaurant

Nice affordable dorms, very clean. Next to the showers and bathrooms, also very clean. It is possible to rent bikes there to go to the Hell's Gate NP but i recommend to rent them at the park's gate though (cheaper). THe view on the lake is nice. I recommmend this place.

Beautiful campgrounds on the banks of lake naivasha with a mix of rooms, dorms and campsites. It also has an eclectic dining area with wood fired oven made pizzas and other food. Evenings have a special adventure a with hippos lying just outside the fence. Highly recommend it for a visit to Naivasha or Hell's gate national park

I have been travelling long long time. This is the WORST place I have ever stayed!
First, I have book a dorm bed. When arriving, the staff told me that they had no bed for me. Because they just gave all the beds to a GROUP. And the staff ask me to stay in a tent instead. But I have to wait 2 hours. Because another staff was having lunch!
The staff did not say and feel sorry for the mistake at all!
Second, the staff asked me to pay more for the mattres in the tent!
Third, when I came back to the campsite in the evening, it was very dark. I could not find my tent. I asked the staff to help me. And the staff refused to help me!
Fourly, on the next day the staff told me to change to the dorm room. When I entered the room. The group was not check out yet. It was almost 3 PM!
The staff told me to wait for them, because the group was having thire lunch!
Again, the staff did not say and feel sorry for the mistake at all!
Last, the staff did not change the pillow case and bed linen until I asked!

There are so many places to stay there. I strongly all traveller to avoid this horrible place!

Very relaxing place with nice bandas. Awesome restaurant and bar with great view and atmosphere. Go down to the lake, spot hippos, watch all the different kinds of colorful birds and relax on the porch of the banda.

Quite simply the best ever homemade nachos, go to the restaurant and have nachos, end of. (Also a great campsite on the lakeside with hippos only metres away)
