Multiple activities at the lake. Great views with fish served just next to the beach. If you go for a boat ride you may just ask to be taught to ride the boat. The guides are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this as a place to take 'her' for a birthday or a date.
Beautiful park with a great look at the white rhino. We even saw some babies. Animals were not bothered by our presence. We we were lucky enough to see a leopard as well.
Great place on a serene side of lake Oloiden/Naivasha. Loved the jacuzzi and plunge pool. The rooms were spacious and comfy. The service was good, and the rates are reasonable.
It is one of the places to visit. However, I would not call it a national park. Birds and hippos are the only ones who are original resident of the place. Rest of the animals are brought the. It is more of elaborate zoo than national park. I will not call this place good for kids as it is absolutely no go with babies. Not sure about kids, aged 5 to 6 years, going for boat ride. To be on safer side I would take 10 yrs old and above.
Beautiful view from the base of the escarpment God is creative. Beautiful farming community small scale and large scale surrounding the lake!
It's a great experience. The blue fresh water lake and blue sky give one such an overwhelming sense of joy. You reconnect with yourself and God. The sun is gentle to the skin and the breeze is wonderful.
Exciting boat rides in the lake that has broken it's boundaries and encroaches into the main land due to climate change.
Tasty fish dishes as well. The catches are direct from the lake, both large and small. You should try some when you visit.
It's our must-go-place whenever we visit Naivasha
A rest from the strong winds that blows in the surrounding areas. Cold breeze from the sea giving a panorama view of the sea and the crescent island. Enjoy boat riding and experience the presence of hippopotamuses in the lake. Don't forget to grasp a super cooked fish from the vendors.
You will truly enjoy the place.
Getting there is a bit of a process, but well worth it. There's wild animals like giraffes roaming about the lake shore and there's no fence to keep them at bay, so it's quite a breathtaking experience. You don't really need a guide, because they'll overcharge you, and don't really add any value to your excursion. I mean there's not much they can do if an animal charges at you, is there? Not like anything like that would happen, considering that the animals hang back and mind their own business.
There are various species of animal around here. They include baboons, zebras, gazelles, warthog and many others. Its a good place for local and international tourists
Great service. The food at the restaurant was great and the service too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend getaway.
Only fresh water lake in the the Great Rift Valley. The boat rides are great and you can see the Hippos up close.
The kengen spa is well worth the drive, excellent pool, plenty of life guards, kid pool exists, shaded gazebos, sunbathing beds. Great food and excellent showers/changing area. All in all I'd give it a 10/10
The place to be exact should be Kongoni Lodge. Its on the south of Lake Naivasha with an up close encounter with wild animals especially giraffes. Over seventy species of birds chirping in the background will offer you a surreal experience
A very nice place to relax oneself after a busy schedule
Wonderful wildlife. Brilliant boat tour Got up close and personal with hippos and giraffes Was also given a chance to see eagles dive for fish.. Well worth a visit
Good for weekend outing. You can do boating here, camping and biking at Hell's gate national park which is also affordable for low budget travellers.
We landed in Lake Navasha, after our booking at Lake Nakuru was cancelled by the hotel due to some accommodation problems. But, we were treated to an exotic location at the resort. So beautiful and old world! It was fascinating to see giraffes and hippos walking near our rooms freely. Saw cacti grow to palm tree heights.
Lake Naivasha is an amazing location and a paradise for bird lovers, the main attraction here is the boat trip. Several boats are available and the usual standard safety procedures are followed. At one point fish bait is thrown out of the boat and live fish eagles will glide down .the lake is surrounded by vegetation and one should still come across plenty of wildlife here..giraffeshippos
It's a cool place to spend your weekend High quality Hospitality service
Spectacular wildlife, a birders dream. In off season its very calm. Loved our visit.
Great place for a weekend. A variety of hotels around the lake including five star hotels and camping sites. Nearby is the amazing Hell's Gate National Park.the place has a lot of wildlife.
Living by the lake was quite a treat. It was simply one of the best weeks i have spent on earth. We had a tough task to do. A busy meeting, thinking for our Continent Africa. But you couldn't fail to feel the serenity and coolness of the place. I would come back again and again one thousand times if you gave me the ticket!
Naivasha has always been my best place i have ever visited, but if you've never been to lake Naivasha National park, make an effort to visit the place. They offer the best services you dream of.
Serene and quiet environment where you interact with wildlife freely.
Loved the experience (boat riding) it becomes cheaper if you do it as a group
The ambiance is just amazing. Their lunch time buffet is also on point.
A nice place to spend a holiday off. Great hotels around. Boat ride in the lake. Community is so hospitable. Their is fish frying.
Birders paradise as they call it. You will have a chance to see the rarest birds as well as enjoy a great game drive. Carry your bird book and binoculars. Have a great time here.
