The Ryokan was located in a quiet area 15 min walking distanca to Matsumoto station. The host was very friendly. Rooms are typical japanese size and style with a shared bathroom and a little sentou too.

Walls thin as paper. Other than that, fantastic! Great service! Location also pretty good!

Really lovely Ryokan with friendly owners! Everything was very clean and the tatami mats were super comfortable. Great price as well!

Location was close to the station. 10 walk but be had so much luggage to roll behind is so 15 minutes. Rooms were cosy. Small as most in Japan are but well heated as we went in fall during a cold day. Service was very pleasant. We were greeted well and shown to our rooms. We didn't get to see the service in action that much because we left early morning after 1 day.

Clean, comfortable and tidy Japanese home style hotel. A little noise when other guests walking around the corridor. Price was a bargain.

Loved this place, it is a little gem! Really affordable but with friendly staff and owners and lovely rooms. We would stay here again if we revisited the area.
