Friendly staff go beyond limit to make sure you have a good time in Kyoto. Good for traditional style Japanese rooms. Clean and quiet for our stay. Not a negative to me but be aware of steep steps to room and that the sink, toilet, and shower are all separate. They even let us store baggage for free after checkout.

It located near Higashiyama Station (less than 200 m from Higashiyama Station's gate). Good options for travellers who want to spend their entire days hanging out and only spend their time here for sleep.

일본 고택에 머물고 싶다면 추천합니다~!
다만 1층 룸이 아닐경우 화장실을 야외로 가야하는데 이 점이 불편하신 분들은 참고하세요~
그렇지만 숙소가 고즈넉하고 너무 예뻐요~ 직원분들도 굉장히 친절하시고 좋아요^^
위치도 히가시야마역에서 매우 인접합니다.
교토가 메인 여행지라면 위치상으로 굉장히 좋은곳!! 헤이안신궁은 숙소에서 걸어서 10분정도!response / report this review -

Nicest staff ever. Arrived here by mistake because there are four Haruya hostels in Kyoto. The lady spoke great English, gave me a map, walked me to the bus stop, and called the other location to tell them I was arriving and make sure I was happy. Pros: staff, location. Would definitely return.
