  Amazing tradutional hotel.
  Very clean and spacious traditional rooms (up to 6 persons).
  Very comfortable floor beds.
  Free and private mixed hot spring for 40minutes / day.
  Free bicycles which are really important in Kyoto.
  Friendly staff, ready for any demand, always smiling.
  
  I didn't like the food which is my personal opinion, too traditional for my taste.
  also think about bringing power suply adaptator.

  Great location, relaxing onsen, good sized room, tasty Japanese dinner and breakfast, and most importantly super kind and helpful staff. The hotel is located one train stop from central Kyoto where you can head downtown or to nearby Yasaka Shrine or Kiyomizu Temple. The onsen was very nice, and you are able to reserve it ahead of time for 40 minutes of private use. The hotel staff was top notch. We booked our room super late and missed the booking for the dinner and breakfast, but after calling they were able to fit us in anyways. We were not the best guests, showing up late to the meals and staying in the onsen too long, but the staff showed us nothing but professionalism and kindness, and they even held our bags for us for the rest of the day after checkout so we could more easily explore Kyoto.

  Very nice Japanese style hotel with great service. Especially dinner is provided with beautifully made piece by piece. Friendly waitress also.
