Perfect for families. 2 Bunks in the room. Kitchen facilities on top floor. Close to metro and shops. Welcoming staff
The hostel was awesome! It was cosy and really vibrant! The staff was really helpful and knowledgeable. They knew the surrounding places very well, and were able to suggest to me good ramen places (I love ramen).
I have to pay the cancelation fee of my partner, but apparently from that everything is ok
People working there are very kind and professionnal, feels nice to speak with humans rather than the usual robot like receptionnist. Staff speak a good english. Room are good for the money spent, shared space is full of personnality: it took me an hour to feel at home.
Please keep up the good work.
Khaosan is a hostel, so it a thrift place to get some sleep for travelers on a budget. We were able to get a private room since i was traveling with 3 other people. It came out to 12000 for the 4 of us or 3000 yen each. They were able to give us 2 keys for the room. The bathroom door will not shut all the way but we were able to make it work. Since it is a hostel, you will have to make your own bed. There are 2 bunk beds in the room. The room is small and sometimes it is hard to move passed people in the room. It seems that they will clean the bathroom every other day. You will have to clean out all your stuff from the bathroom when they do the cleaning. A decent size tv is in the room. You are able to do laundry for 200 yen a load and they to provide sope and dry for 100 yen for 20 minutes or hang it up for free if there is space. I think there is a free light breakfast in the morning. Free wifi. A lot of plugs to charge your electronic. You should bring your own towel if you want to save around 50 yen for renting a towel. Common room on the 6 floor. Refrigerator to put food in if there is room.
Friendly staff and good facility. 3 minutes walk from tawaramachi station
Cheap place, nice people working there. Very helpful.
