Excellent hotel, very convenient, close by to the metro. The location is wonderful. Great spacious room, very clean. Wonderful service. Perfect breakfast.
Excellent location. Shopping, Shinjuku train station, restaurants all right outside the door. Scenic king room clean with very comfortable bed. Stunning views worth every penny! Staff at reception very helpful with directions.
I read the reviews prior to booking with this hotel. I agree with most, if not all, the reviews that it has the best location. Situated beside the Shinjuku Station and Bus Terminal, it has been very convenient for my family to travel. Not to mention, shops, convenience stores and restaurants as well as malls are within walking distance. Price is a bit costly but I am happy with my stay. Staff receptionists are courteous. Service is excellent. Overall, I plan to stay here again should we be going back to Tokyo.
Capable, efficient staff. Great position in Tokyo. Wonderful view from room. Very good amenities. Useful baggage storage.
I was staying in the hotel for 5 days. At the last night, I ask the front desk whether there was the same type of room (scenic king room) available for extension of 3-day stay. The staff said only the smallest room was available. However, it was too small for me and my husband. I was doubting what the staff told me was true as it was weekdays at the time. So I quickly went back to my room and search at the hotel's website for any available room for the following 3 days. Surprisingly, I got at least 4 room types to choose from, and I booked the same room, scenic king room, straight away. I felt angry and wonder why the front desk told me all room sold out except the smallest room. I went to the reception again, showed the same staff my online reservation number and ask him to explain to me why I can book a room via the hotel's website but what he told me was a different story. At the beginning, the staff was still insisting that no room available for me except the smallest room. This made me even more angry and felt there was something wrong regarding the hotel's staff and training. After the staff asked other colleagues' help, they gave me a very strange answer with poor English "we are reception and what we can see from the computer system was no room available for you except the smallest room type. Also, our hotel's reservation center was closed now. Customers who book online often can cause double booking but our front desk' computer system is different from the reservation system.so we can't do anything but offer you the smallest room." It is odd to come across a reception staff who is unable to book the room for the customers but the customers have to book the room via the hotel's website. Well, perhaps this is a kind of "self-service" when you would like to stay in this 4-star hotel with the rate similar to 5-star hotel! Also, the male staffs at reception were not friendly either when I asked them for extension. Think twice before you are going to book this hotel!
North American hoteliers could stand to learn a thing from the Japanese. The service is impeccable. The employees are always helpful and courteous. The in-room amenities are helpful. A working mini fridge with freezer, water boiler, and a shower with actual water pressure. Spoil yourself if you're here in Tokyo for a short stay at Century Hotel Southern Tower.
Beautiful clean hotel conveniently located in the heart of Shinjuku. Good restaurant selection on the upper floors with great views of the Shinjuku area.
Great views of Tokyo city, Skytree, Tokyo tower and Mt Fuji Great bunch of staff Lovely rooms and service, conveniently located close by shinjuku station and the Hub of shinjuku
A very nice hotel which is centrally located, large rooms and I thought the shower was great - the views from the room was also excellent Staff were a little bit OTT with check in procedures though which was a little annoying.. wanting to check my documents despite my wife having already checked us in - overall though I'd recommend this hotel
Great location and comfortable. Friendly staff. Bed was a bit hard but we were so tired from touring that we didn't have much trouble sleeping.
So close to Shinjuku Station that I would definitely recommend if you plan on using the rail to visit all over Tokyo.
Breakfast was good I would recommend adding it on your reservation.
