Nice hostel, great staff, secure neighborhood. Sensoji temple right around the corner, really close to Asakusa Station (convenient).

This is a great place to stay to explore Tokyo. It is within walking distance of the subway and located near all necessities. The rooms are clean and the place tidy. The staff is without a doubt the best part of Khaosan Tokyo kabuki! They are all very friendly and knowledgeable. I even got myself in a travel emergency that left me stranded in Japan and everyone at the front desk was incredibly helpful and spent a lot of time and effort in helping me with advice and contacting my embassy. It was a pleasure to stay here and meet all the wonderful people in this place! Thanks for everything Khaosan Tokyo kabuki!

Really cosy place, stayed here for 7 days. Staff was extremely nice. It wasn't that big though, so if you're looking for a place to meet people and party, this might not be the right choice for you.

We have stayed there for at least 5 times before. The experience used to be wonderful. But it's not good anymore
1. Our friends didn't really speak English. It was quite difficult while checking-in. There was someone waiting at that time. After my friends were done, the personnel sighed. Pardon me but that's rude!
2. The bed was broken.
3. The room has COCKROACHES. They said they "already prepared cockroach killer also things that protect the room from them". The next day, two cockroaches still showed up.

During the whole communication, they only said sorry. But you see it's just perfunctory and not sincere.

I'm sorry to see this hostel being like this because it used the be our first and only option whenever we visited Tokyo, even though you can actually find nicer and cheaper places to stay in Asakusa.

Not a bad thing to say about Khaosan Tokyo Kabuki. The rooms were clean the shared room had a great atmosphere its in a absolutely perfect spot for walking around. But what stood out the most was the staff. They are absolutely great. i spent 10 days in tokyo and stayed at 4 different hostels. and this was by far my favorite. 10/10 would stay again!

Lovely hostel. Quiet. One thing I'd change is the fact that unlike most hostels in Japan thy don't have curtains around the beds

One of the friendliest places I have ever had the privilege of staying in. Staff are courteous and understanding if you don't speak Japanese, and most speak English really well. The beds are comfortable, and the common room is incredibly chilled. You can play classic SNES games, watch TV and even have a vending machine and access to computers. All in all, one of the greatest places to stay in Tokyo :)

Nice and quiet. Very contemporary. Clean. And also quite spacious for a Japanese hostel. Been to many, this was the most spacious. It's also close to all the attractions you can think of.
