A staple store for Yokosuka Base families as it is close enough and cheaper than most home furniture stores in Japan. Food is great too!

Very near from Kohoku Inter. For easy access they are having Shuttle Bus Service from Shin-Yokohama Station. Excellent Style Home Furnishing with reasonable price. Icecream of 50 Yen is being loved by Kids.

Well laid out, good examples of how the products can be arranged together - giving lots of ideas for our place.
Helpful staff, plenty of seats at the restaurant.
Great that they have the free shuttle bus, but be sure to check when it runs, 40 minute wait if you miss the 9pm one!response / report this review -

This place is huge!!! And has tons of stuff to choose from. It was busy when we went so maybe it's best to go during a weekday afternoon. Good prices

Good place to shop, all under one roof. It is a kids friendly store.
Weekend is always crowded, especially at the restaurant.
During weekday, the restaurant is not crowded and it may be a good place to work too; with free wifi service 😊response / report this review -

A huge store, All home furniture available . just a confusing part is that we have to find the item from their huge Godown , Once you enter the shop, u will just have to walk all through their pathway but still a very good place to find the home furniture

A huge store with a wide selection of goods, though they are sometimes out of stock on popular items. The excellent IKEA app allows you to check on stock before visiting however, which is really helpful. The restaurant area is vast and the food ranges from mediocre to good with the added appeal of serving unique dishes not found elsewhere in Japan, and all at reasonable prices. We've rarely had problems finding a parking space, even on the weekends and there also appears to be a shuttle bus that leaves from Denenchofu station and another location that's slipped my mind. We haven't tested the children's play area yet as our son is still too young but it seems popular with families. The queues at the checkout are not quite as outrageous as other IKEA stores I've visited but be prepared for a long wait on public holidays and weekends.

If you have ever been to an IKEA, you know that it's and endless maze of wonderful cheap and yet somehow expensive items.
This IKEA is no different! I've been to this location six or seven times now and each time offers something new and exciting. I'd say it's one of the bigger IKEA stores in Japan.
The staff are always helpful and some of the staff are able to speak English to help you out!
There is a free bus (though very slow) from Shin-Yokohama station to the store and back!
There are a few items that are maybe a bit to big to be moved by yourself. Though asking for help is always welcomed by the employees.
The only downside is that this store can get VERY VERY crowded on Saturdays and Sundays. If you must go on the weekend try to go early in the morning to avoid the crowds.
Otherwise a Monday afternoon will give you the whole store to yourself!
