Stayed there for 6 days in August 2016very close to "life" supermarket and Nakano sta.. Had a great stay there the staffs were very friendly and helpful :)

I stayed there in 2015. I had a great week. It is a good neighbourhood not far from the west Tokyo best spots..still need to take the train though ;)

Pros: Great location - close to JR station and neat neighborhood. Friendly staff with excellent english. Cost is very low. Shower rooms were adequate. Cons: dorms/beds were very cramped even for a hostel, and thin windows made it noisy and difficult to sleep. Furniture seemed pretty cobbled together and bathrooms were tiny.. Not ideal if you lile to spend awhile getting ready in the morning. Verdict: Great for a couple nights or if you are on a budget, but if you like some room to yourself or are a light sleeper I'd recommend paying an extra 700-900yen a night and staying at a more comfortable hostel.

Located walking distance from the train station and close to a lot of great places to eat. The hostel itself is nice and cozy, although a bit too smelly near the bathroom area.
