Great location, decently sized rooms, could be loud at night but great place to stay overall.
Comfortable, clean and very well located hotel in Osaka. Room space is above the average compared to other Japanese hotels and bed is fine. Good quality cost relationship. Breakfast could be improved but scrambled eggs were delicious. The hotel view was not very interesting but is a great location. I would be back if I'm ever back in Osaka.
Great location and friendly staff. I speak some Japanese, but they were able to help me with anything I could not say. 7 Eleven connected to the hotel. The room came with a Samsung smartphone to use that had a Holiday Inn interface app, and several other common apps. It was Internet only, but you can take it with you while you travel Osaka. It has several recommendations for food, shopping and activities. If not, Google Maps or Line is very handy to have. Very good experience.
Rooms are on the smaller side and not that well maintained. My room had a window that looked into the bedroomseriously? For a Holiday Inn, they need to step it up as it's certainly not up to the standard of the brand. Staff was cordial but again, not up to other hotels. Convenient to just about everything but not exactly safe feeling when you leave the hotel. Probably wouldn't stay there again unless they up their game and compete with other hotels.
Hotel really improved a lot since last year. I love they provide a cell phone which you can use Google map to walk around. Its location is impecable. Staffs are extremely friendly.
Very near to lively Mamba area in Osaka. Hotel is okay, with friendly staff and good rooms.
Great location, convenient 711 inside the store, front desk very helpful for finding places to go.
Great location, big rooms for Japanese standard and great customer service. I highly recommend the hotel just for the location - In the heart of Dotonbori with restaurants and shops at your doorstep.
perfect Hotel for a quick trip to the Osaka food and nightlife scene - some might don't like the buzzing entertainment area - for an adventure trip perfect -/ quiet clean rooms
Nice enough, requested a large double room and that apparently means a double queen mattress not two beds. To get two beds we needed to pay an additional 2000 yen a night and were forced to take a smoking room (which even after four days with the windows open the smell doesn't go away). The hotel is actually a holiday inn, when I booked the hotel it was not and the website showed the room types which is where the annoyance comes from, the previous hotel showed a double as two separate beds.
The hotel is nice though and has good views of the city and is centrally located. Namba and Nippombashi train stations are easily accessed. A lot of reviews mention the red light issues but they were not an issue for me, no one was overly pushy and a simple 'no' when propositioned was always enough to end any unwanted attention. I never felt unsafe at this hotel.
