Located right in the heart of Ginza-Tokyo, the hotel is clean, good amenities, friendly staff.
Convenience store and subway station access are right across the street of the hotel.
Bag deposit service is available within the same day of check-in or check-out which is very helpful.

Great find. European style hotel in heart of Ginza shopping district on quiet, clean, safe street. Walking distance to Tokyo station, or use station across the street. Spa services available. Last minute deal was under $100/night.

Great hotel in the price range, excellent service too. The hotel is right in the heart of Ginza, and also near 2 subway lines. Hotel sells a discounted subway unlimited use pass (I bought 48 hours for ¥1200). Amenities are full and complete. Breakfast includes both Japanese and Western food. If it's raining they can lend you umbrellas.

I loved everything about this hotel. It was very up scale, came with plenty of amenities in the bathroom (and a nice big bathtub). The staff was so kind and helpful. I would love to stay here again some time.

Nice, clean and decent hotel located in Ginza shopping area with easy access to major attractions. Lots of nice restaurants are around the hotel. Kabuki-za is within walking distance. We were able to get in line earlier to buy single performance tickets. The staff speak good English and courteous. The only thing I would say is the lobby needs updating. It doesn't show as better as their rooms.

Hotel was easy to find, staff was really friendly, rooms were really clean, and the beds were nice, but hotel meals were outrageously priced. Breakfast was ¥3,000 ($28) and dinner ranged from ¥6,000 ($56) to ¥7,000 ($65). Fortunately there was a convenience store across the street with really good, cheap food and a slew of affordable resteraunts down the street.

We had a very good stay at Hotel Monterey Ginza. The staff were helpful and luckily spoke English too! They were very accommodating when our flight was cancelled and switched the night of our booking. It was an easy 15 minute or less walk from Tokyo station, and the same again to the Tsukiji Market. As to the room itself, it was generously sized for Tokyo and well appointed. The only downside was the bed- you have to like a very firm mattress!

This hotel is one of my favorite hotels in Tokyo, because of its elegant atmosphere, comfortable rooms, convenient location in Ginza and affordable. This time I enjoyed the breakfast too. (Sometimes the buffet restaurant is crowded, but is is not any fault of the hotel itself. Instead, this is so popular hotel.) The staff are always kind, helpful and ready for providing practical information and advice whenever asked.

The building is very nice, and the room was larger than I expected, specially for Japan. T
he person who attend me when arrived was a lady around 45 years old, she was looking down at me, it is the very first time that ever happens to me in a hotel in Japan and it is really weird because usually the hotel staff is very very nice, other than that the place was nice and inexpensive and the location is just great, you got 3 conveniences stores 1 min walking, several cafeterias and of course the main ginza area. Great place to stay

The accommodations from the hotel are more than adequate, though the room I reserved ended up being rather small. Being an English speaker, the staff was very helpful in getting me set up, but the entertainment provided through the TV is not very useful unless you want to pay extra for video-on-demand. Still, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this to anyone looking for a reasonably priced stay near the downtown Tokyo (Ginza) area.
