The rooms are super tiny but the view is spectacular. We were on the 13th floor and could see some of the imperial palace, cherry blossoms and the Tokyo tower. Service is very good and the hotel feels clean and refreshing. It's 5 min walk to the nearest purple line Hanzomon exit 1. We enjoyed staying in this area.

We found the size of the Grand Arc's rooms to be comparable in size of rooms found in London at the same price, but with so much more on offer. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful, offering continental, American or Japanese breakfast options - the latter being our first experience at such a breakfast. The concierge staff are friendly and welcoming, and even gave us an umbrella to use on a rainy day. There are vending machines just around the corner from our room, and inside there were slippers and dressing gowns, and absolutely stunning views of the Imperial gardens. We'd stay again!

Please note that there are two types of rooms. Smoking and non-smoking. I got accidently got a smoking room. Changing would cost money. In order to get rid of the Smokey smell turn on the a.c. and the fan. There's a bottle of frebreeze in the room. Use it like your room was on fire. Try to do this asap. Leave for dinner or something. Come back an hour or two later and it should smell better. other than the smell hotel was okay with a good view.

Very close to Hanzomon station (Exit 1); cross the street once out of the exit 1, locate Sunku, walk down the street on that side; the hotel is a bout a block or two away. Room is cleaned daily. We stay in a Japanese style room. Staffs will change bed to table and chairs (Japanese style) and spread the futons in the evening for sleep. We have requested to keep the futon 24/7 as we would like to rest during the day (16 hours difference time zone), and the hotel was accommodating for the request. Clean and crisp bedding changed daily, I am impressed. Many toiletries available for our stay. Some people may think this location is too far for attractions, but I don't mind staying in a place away from hustle and bustle during the night with kids. I feel safe walking in this neighborhood. Five stars.
