AMAZING customer service! We needed help finding an open post office on the weekend and they went out of their way to find one for us and told us exactly how to get there. My sister lost a screw on her glasses and they has a glasses repair kit. Just overall amazing staff made it worth staying there. Luckily they also had great rooms with an amazing view of the park too! And so close to Ueno station! If I ever come back to Japan I will stay here again for sure!

Free and quite delicious breakfast buffet! One morning, even unagi was provided. The first photos were taken from my room. The room is new and cosy but there's only one small draw in our room (12 square metres). Moreover, the bathroom is quite small.

The rooms have fantastic unobstructed view to the lake, millions Yen view! The amenities inside the room are amazingly complete and in very good quality. The location is very near to both Ueno JR and Keisei station, and very close to Ueno park, University of Tokyo, Ameyoko and Okachimachi shopping areas.

This hotel is very small, but it is comfortable, clean and convenient with a good price. The room was tight, but it worked out very well. I spent 3 nights here. Most of the rooms have a beautiful very of Ueno Park. It's directly across the street from the park, so it's relatively quite at night. The beautiful park has a zoo, several museums and a pond with paddle boats. It also has a small concert venue, which had one loud concert while we were there, but it ended by 10pm. The room had just enough room to walk around one side and the foot of the bed. There were no closets or drawers to store anything, so with our suitcases, it was pretty cramped. If they had room to store your suitcase under the bed, there would be a lot more room. The bathroom is tiny, like an airplane bathroom with a shower, and there is no room to set down a toiletry bag. The bed was slightly softer than the other beds I slept in in Japan, but it was still very firm. Everything was immaculately clean and comfortable despite the small size. The room had a hair dryer, coffee, massage pillow, tv, free wifi, and more. For the price, location, and the friendly staff, I would highly recommend this hotel.

My friend and I (both males) stayed at this hotel (twin room) for 4 nights. The rooms are stylish with wooden decor and came with many amenities such as a shoulder and foot massager and complimentary chocolates.
The staff spoke good English and breakfast was included in the price. very good location, close to Ueno station (response / report this review
