Best hotel near to Osaka station. Sophisticated and modern style with Japan flair. We always stay here while visiting Umeda. Nearby to shops and restaurants galore.

I am a Diamond status member in the Hilton Honors program. One of the benefits of earning this level of status in most hotel loyalty programs is a late check out, which is generally 4pm for Hyatt, IHG and Marriott. I think it is fair to assume that you would receive the same level of benefit in the Hilton Honors program.

However, when I requested a 4pm late check out at Hilton Osaka I was surprised to hear that Diamond members are only eligible for a 3pm late check out. I tried to look this up online, but it seems the language is purposefully vague on this benefit for Hilton Honors members. The front desk staff apologized and told me it depends on the property, and was nice enough to offer to make a "special case" to extend my check out, but by that time I had already packed and was resigned to the fact I was ineligible to get a benefit I would have received at a competitor hotel.

Rather than receive a special exception, even though I've spent tens of thousands of dollars at Hilton properties in Japan, it would be nice to see benefits clearly written out for the status earned from the tens of thousands of dollars spent. Otherwise, what's the point of loyalty?

Very beautiful hotel. The view from the hotel is mind blowing. Placed at the heart of city the shopping area is quite near. You can roam around the place. The food is good. The hotel is very clean and the amenities are excellent

Nice hôtel, ideally located in downtown Osaka. Rooms are comfortable and they have very good choice for food.

This was a nice hotel. I am not quiet sure why it had 5 stars, but the proximity to the main train station and shopping area make it a great location while visiting Osaka. The hotel was clean but overly crowded when I staid here. The lobby was permanently filled with luggage waiting for their owners. The check-in staff seemed a bit stressed, yet helpful. The room was clean, efficient and not as small as other places in Japan's cities. They had an interesting model train display in the lobby that made waiting there fun.

They're always very friendly here. It's in an amazing location, close to Osaka Station City. The rooms are very nice. Very minimal really, but I'm a good way

Average service. Housekeeping staff were not well trained. The room didn't seem to get cleaned. The facilities are "trapped in an 80's" vibe. Location was the only redeeming factor. Convenient to get to places and shops all around the hotel.

Beautiful lobby and this modern hotel is very centrally located in Osaka. The rooms are modern and clean with good size comfortable beds. The gym is big enough to get a decent workout although the number of bikes is limited. The only criticism is that the bathtub isn't the newest. Note, when I was there the wifi was very slow. Am not sure if that was just for my visit or if that's normal.

Very nice upscale hotel across from the Osaka Central train station. Excellent customer service. Very good meeting rooms, banquet facilities, and restaurants. The guest rooms are large, very clean, modern, and well equipped. My favourite place to stay when in Osaka.

The best hotel in central Osaka is the Hilton it is across the road from the station and you can get there from the underground shopping centre and from all the surrounding public transportations. The rooms are big in Japanese terms and I especially like the windowsills you can sit on and watch the town from above. The decor is light with traditional Japanese features with looks great and is very functional. They have a great pool and a gym as well as a full service spa. The executive lounge has a great view over town and is quite spacious with both tables and sofas. They serve breakfast, afternoon tea and evening food and drinks which all are very good, and the staff are very friendly and helpful with sightseeing, travelling or any advice.
