Good customer service, room in best condition, close to railway station and near to tourist spot (Osaka Castle - walkable distance)

spacious bathroom with a big enough bathtub to just relax in. The room too was spacious I can actually open my luggage and spread out while still having enough room to move around and not feel so constricted.
Great staff, they are so helpful as well. and location is close to castle and trains :)

The room was big and spacious, especially compared to the other Japanese hotels we've been to. The hotel is also close to a station on the Osaka loop line and Aeon (department/grocery store). The free bottle water every day is nice when it's hot. Would stay again.

Overall my and my wife's experience was satisfactory. Could it have been better? Yes. Hotel employees were kind and respectful. The hotel room itself was clean. We had a little trouble finding the hotel, as it shares the building with several other businesses and offices. Check-in was basically straightforward, except the lobby employee inexplicably needed to make copies of our passports. That may just be a Japanese practice. Our room was on the 21st floor, and it offered a great view of the city. The hotel is also very close to Osaka Castle, so if that is on your list of places to see, you should definitely consider Hotel Monterey La Soeur. Since this was our first time staying in a Japanese hotel, we didn't know why we were given two key cards. It turns out that one key is used to activate the electricity in the room. We almost foolishly called hotel staff, because we had no idea why the lights weren't turning on. Just be sure to put that card into the electricity slot by the door. Our semi-double room for two nights costed 14,400 yen, which is very reasonable when you compare it to other hotels in its category in Osaka. Plus, our stay included two free passes to the hotel spa. Prices may differ depending on the season, however. We stayed in the hotel in May. If we stop in Osaka again, we will probably stay here again.

Very close to the station which made it easy to get to and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The room was a little small but to be expected in Japan. Room was very nice! They're breakfast selection was also quite good, covered Western and Japanese breakfast options.

    Very spacious rooms!
    Amazing view and awesome toilets!
Room is very cold, though. I don't know how to turn up the heater. Freezing!

Excellent room, very nice onsen spa, top class restaurants, and a great location between the Kyubashi Station and Osaka Castle.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The language barrier is less of a problem because the staff goes out of their way to answer in English and gets any issue resolved in a timely manner. The AC unit manual may not be in the room and the unit itself could be labeled in English to make it easier to navigate.
