cozy place, friendly staff, good experience. we stay at downstair so stairs isnt our problem. if you come in wintet, the bathroom has no heating, but a wonderful wonsen nearby.

Love their Japanese style brekky. I love how the place is laid out (get to experience traditional kyoto style housing). it can be annoying when u need to use the toilet as I stayed at girls dorm which is located upstairs. Toilet is located downstairs past the common lounge and then sliding doors then the toilet which can be quiet annoying if you need to go to toilet in the middle of the night. wished there was a shared toilet upstairs too. people smoked at the counter/reception which came in straight through upstairs dorm windows. Management need to make sure people dont smoke inside the building. otherwise lovely place. Plz try the famous oyakodon restaurant few blocks down thr guest house.

Kingyoya guesthouse was such a great experience !! It was very traditional and cozy. The service was really nice and the other guests were friendly. I finally got a feel of what it's like living in Japan traditionally and I would do it again!

很棒的住宿體驗，在傳統木造屋，隔音就要自己擔待些，其實聽隔壁房客在吵也是蠻好笑的（只可惜我日文不夠好聽不太懂在講啥）

服務人員給人的感覺親切而且可愛！完全是金魚家的風格！

Easily the best guest house I have ever stayed at.
Very nice and helpful staff, delicious breakfast, clean and cozy rooms, a beautiful little Japanese garden and the "free space" is a great place to get to meet other guests and have a good time.
5/5 since there's no 6/5.
