Quite old but it could be what you look for the real old fashion way of Osaka living.

The young staff is always ready to help and discuss. The guesthouse is very close to JR station but, careful, the walls between the two rooms upstairs (rooms for 2-3 pers.) are so thin that you hear absolutely everything
But still a good compromise between quality and price!

Guesthouse Odori is fabulous. It was kept meticulously clean, the staff were very kind and helpful, and it was in a wonderful area - we could easily walk to Tennoji and other popular areas.

    Everything you could hope for.
The next time I'm in Osaka, I will definitely return.

Odori Guesthouse is a great place. The staff are very kind. They speak Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and English. The staff are all studying English. They keep the place clean and they love to have fun. There is a common space where people can socialize in in many languages. Odori guesthouse has a kitchen that is free to use, along with a computer, a few games (jenga, cards) and a few instruments. it is a really cool place. It is a Japanese style guesthouse which is pretty cool. But be warned, the place is almost always fully booked, so make sure you make a reservation before hand.
