A small cozy inn, it's kind of modern but still has the charm of a ryokan. It's tucked away from the busy street, and was very quiet when we wanted to sleep. The hosts and staff are very kind, and we were able to converse in both English and Japanese. Very close to Kyoto station and there's lots of places to eat and things to do around!
Great location and clean. Rooms are small though.
Very basic room. Shared washrooms and shower.
Tiny place but good value, especially for a quick overnight stay.
Nice traditional ryokan
Great Ryokan with common kitchen close to the train station. Can be noisy though : bring earplugs.
Pretty, clean and near from Kyoto station. Also cheap. It has a communitary kitchen that is very useful
The dirtiest place ever. Smoking area is in the lobby. One of the owners is very friendly, the other very unfriendly.
The only positive side of the place is the location - near the train station.
