Super nice hosts, great location!
Stuff is nice. Stay in seven people dormitory. The room is at the basement next to the breakfast area. Manageable facilities but don't expect too much. Cheap stay for a short visit.
every thing good trom the hotel and mean the hotel so very good
One of the worst hotels I've been, really poorly maintained and managed, only good thing was that it was cheap. The tap in the bathroom was leaking, and, being in the second most water-deprived countries in the world, I felt obliged to mention this in order to get this fixed (it even said so in the outdated hotel information in the room!). The staff member just replied indifferently "oh, that's normal"!? I asked him to check it and get it fixed.
In the meantime we go to Petra, and we notice our wallet is missing from our daypack, seems we had left it in the hotelroom. When we get back our wallet is on our bed, but 100 dinars are stolen from it! When we mention this to the staff, the first staffmember tries to discuss this with another staffmember by phone, but just ends up arguing in front of us, but when we speak to the manager it seems like he really wants to help and fix this. He promises to call us later that day (we leave for Wadi Rum that day), but nothing. After we call him, he says "it takes time, call me again tomorrow". That day after we call him, he says "I go to the police later, I will let you know". Still no information, and I have to ask again, and after the 2nd email I finally get a reply, but with no new information. Another update (with no new developments) is only given 11 days later, after another couple of emails, but the promise to keep me updated has been lacking and it doesn't feel like the problem is taken seriously.
This hotel is both poorly managed and poorly maintained, and was far below our expectation (even leaving out the theft by the staff). There's loose wiring and rusty screws in the bathroom, the leaking tap that had been leaking for a long time (see the photo), a shower that has almost no power (also because there's more water leaking down than coming from the shower), dirty carpets on the floor, bad WiFi reception, a breakfast area that doesn't get properly staffed (with tables full of dirty dishes, and the tea not being refilled), it's noisy. We have been in many hotels and hostels before, and did not expect luxury or anything special, but have never been this disappointed by a hotel.
Good value for the money and nice breakfast but the hotel itself is not very well maintained
Worst accommodation I've ever been to.
Not clean, extremely small bathroom, poor breakfast, no heating
Good place and nice hotel
Clean, comfortable and friendly. Great value for dormitory style room in Petra.
its such a good and memorable stay..the owner and the staff are very accomodating..rooms are basic but very clean its good.👍
Good budget option for Petra. It's not a **** hotel but good value for the money you pay. Gail is super nice
One of the nicest most interesting owners I've ever met. Great breakfasg.
A cheap and cheerful hotel/hostel combo run by some of the most welcoming people I've ever met. The rooms are basic but clean and great value. There's an excellent breakfast included and they can organise food for your daily adventures down the hill. Free wifi in the lobby (and some of the rooms on the first floor) and an excellent terrace on the roof.
