White Sands is a beautiful gem on 7 Mile Beach. The staff are all hard working great people. The hotel and grounds are very well kept. Love everything about this family run hotel. Yeah Mon!!!

Service was great. Everyone was nice and helpful. There was no TV in my room, but it just made it more relaxing. Most important, it was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed.

White Sands is not a bad place to stay. You get yourself a beach. Some police officers nip in every now and again to grab a drink at the bar and this ensures not too many sellers hang out around this section of the beach so if you're looking for a reasonably quiet patch on the beach, this hotel could be a really good option for you. It's also accessible easily by taxi as it is only off the main road.

This is a very nice place to stay. I have never been treated as well by a hotel. I can't say enough about the quality of the management and the staff here. The facilities are up to date and very clean and attractive decor throughout. Well done landscaping is also a plus.

you truley get more than what you pay for at White Sands. Been staying at White Sands for at least 15 years. i stay 22 weeks and Francis or Michael ALWAYS try to accommodate the traveler. in the years that i have been staying at WS i have met many a friends that stay the same time frame as me. This is somewhat of a budget stay but with a great staff and management. there have been a lot of improvements over the years. with the budget price, there are not beach towels, phones in rooms, TVs and some other ammenities. So you cost is lower than the places that provide, Beach Towels, phones in rooms, and TVs.

Great place to stay for a great price! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful aside from one of the house keepers.The only thing that I didn't like about the room was the fact that one of the two beds was a twin bed that sat on the floor with no bed frame. Besides that overall great experience. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful and the bartender Tony Is absolutely AMAZING!!! If you're a young woman just be aware that some of the local men can be very aggressive !!!

For it's price, location, access to beach, quality of the room and friendliness of staff, the five stars is well deserved.

The beach was crystal clear, you could walk along the whole strip (7 mile beach) and the view was amazing. Of course you have a bunch of vendors along the path, which can sometimes be overwhelming but the staff at the White Sands area do help in having a peace of mind.

Would recommend getting the beach side rooms. The garden side rooms are close to the pool but they are also across the road. The room was comfortable, clean, no issues. Only spent one night. Did not eat any food from the grill, so can't comment on that. The bar does have daily specials of drinks that you can get two for the price of one.

The hotel is very close to many food places etc, all within walking distance. Would go back again for another short stay.

Good small ressort with a nice beach. The rooms are clean. No TV. There is a refrigerator on the room. The clean the room every day. Good price - quality. Lots of restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood.

The hotel is located on the 7 mile beach which is all white sands, shallows and pleasantly warm, blue seas. The room was clean and my only observation is that it could use more lighting (it feels a bit dim with the two lamps provided). There is an atmosphere of calm and peace and quiet and it's so easy to relax and fall away from the world. The Wi-Fi service which covers the entire property still lets you stay connected enough to share vacation photos as you take them.

It's generational. What can you say about a hotel where people come and then they bring their children.? And then their children bring their children. I've been going to White Sands every year for many, many years and would never think of staying any place else. It's the ideal location on 7 Mile Beach, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The family who owns and runs it is warm and friendly and addresses every question a guest might have. Francis, the manager, does everything possible to make your stay and enjoyable one. The staff is amazing. Each and everyone goes above and beyond to make sure the guests are happy and comfortable.
The beach is clean, has security, Liddon and a certified lifeguard, Jeffrey. The bartenders, Tony and Paul are great and serve awesome drinks. The restaurant serves authentic Jamaican food and the servers are friendly and efficient. It says a lot about a place when the same staff has been there for decades.
