Jewel Paradise Cove is a great place to stay in Jamaica. As soon as you disembark from the bus, the staff is waiting there to attend to you. The entire staff is exceptionally wonderful, polite and respectful. The resort was always clean and sanitary. The only downfall was the high jacuzzi tubs. They were a little frightening to climb in and out of( I would suggest installing two small steps) I definitely will be returning!!

Amazing place to stay. The rooms are not great but very clean and nice. Staff is nothing short of amazing. Not a whole lot of negative to mention. I will say that you feel as if you need to tip ALL the time. Everyone wants a tip, there is a lot of staff. Great experience and would consider staying again in the future

This resort is the perfect place to relax and be pampered by a tremendous staff. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are having a good time. Our room was spacious and clean. The variety of restaurants was amazing and the entertainment was great. Kevin on the entertainment group was a bundle of unending energy. He was everywhere, doing everything!! Our favorite bartender was Alphonso. He went out of his way to entertain us and he has a great sense of humor. But all of the staff were great. That is the biggest selling feature of this resort. Hilton did a great job of finding excellent people to run their facility. We would not hesitate to come here again.

Jewel is quite the getaway spot, if you are looking to get lost in time while you’re in Jamaica. I was invited to a 2 day conference here and I was truly amazed by the location. It was not in close proximity to the main roads, which meant we had no disturbances from the cars or trucks passing by. Prior to this visit, I had no idea this place existed and now I’m glad I did. The staff was also very helpful with assisting me, not making me feel lost at the property and did not try to charge me for their help. The main dining area was by the pool with breathtaking and beautiful views which felt really relaxing. The food was fantastic, serving both continental breakfast and authentic Jamaican meals. They had a wide variety of meals for lunch and dinner which was done to perfection. The resort is a gem hidden in the parish of St. Ann which is not only good for adults but for the entire family. I had only one small issue which was the birds flying around the dining area, it’s amazing but you can’t really let your guard down else they’ll join you.

It is quite affordable for all that you get, it is also good for conferences and company meetings and the rooms look fantastic, clean and relaxing. Overall it’s just a very beautiful property.

This place was absolutely amazing. The service was top notch as they made sure you were absolutely happy and satisfied. I don't believe"no" is in their vocabulary..lol. Great place to relax seriously.. if you are looking for a lot of entertainment you will not get that here. Highly recommend and will go back again. The food and frozen drinks were AMAZING!!

Had a great time. First time to Jamaica and would go back for sure. People where fantastic. Food selection at buffet was not the greatest however food was really good. Restaurants were great as well

Ahhhhhhh what can I say! We had such a wonderful vacation at Runaway Bay. The staff is so nice, food is great, swimming pools, beaches, plenty of stuff to do you do not need to leave the resort if you don't want too, but if you feel like exploring they have tours you can buy. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!!!!

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing getaway, this is the place for you!!! Also perfect for a romantic vacation. Many restaurants and bars to choose from, including multiple swim up bars, one open 24/7. Awesome entertainment and activities! The locals that worked there were some of the most friendly and fun people I've met (I come from a town where most people are grumpy and cold) and they are willing to do anything for you to make your stay perfect! I highly recommend, and this won't be the last time I visit this amazing resort!
Make sure you do your research before visiting this beautiful island. I HIGHLY recommend getting a private ride instead of taking a bus. The bus ride was very long and there were many locals asking or demanding us to tip them for little things like putting our bags onto the bus. We had just been on 2 very long plane rides that were packed and uncomfortable with little sleep, so I honestly would have paid $150 just for 1 trip to the resort in a private vehicle (I doubt it's that's much thought). My husband and I did not leave the resort at all due to many people trying to sell us stuff to us, but the resort offered us all of the comfort and entertainment we needed. This is definitely a quiet relaxing getaway, of you are looking for more of a party like resort there are many on the island that will fit your needs!

I had a wonderful experience, place is elegant, nice and quiet, soothing, food is good. The only drawback from this place was the customer service at the grill, the female waitress didn't want to serve locals, she had a real nasty attitude. The rest of the staff there was great tho to my experience.

Rooms are beautiful nice cozy beach and amazing food.
Will definitely return and recommend for a quite and relaxing time.

My wife and I visited this hotel twice, we actually got married last October 2016 there. IT WAS WONDERFUL , their entire wedding team is top-class! 6 days initially and we last visited in July 2017. Their concierge room is beautiful with that nice ocean view. We were impressed by our stay. The staff was very friendly and professional. Nice restaurants, good food lovely ambiance. The grounds were well maintained and our room was quite spacious with good amenities. This resort is an quite excellent and very relaxing. Activities during the day is very entertaining. Highly Recommended! Great Value!

My friends and I stayed at this resort for 4 days and we absolutely loved it! The staff was incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Literally every chef, bar tender, entertainer, housekeeper, etc greeted us with kindness and continuously welcomed us to Jamaica. We always felt like they were happy we were there. I highly recommend this resort!

My wife and I booked this hotel for two (2) nights for our honeymoon August 2016 and stated that on our reservation. We did our research on this resort, saw the photo's and were impressed. However, when we drove up to turn unto the property, it was a desolate sort of layout as we drove on a slip road with a lot of bush on one side and a concrete dirty wall on the other. We almost thought we were at the wrong place, but gave google maps the benefit of the doubt. When we finally saw the outside of the resort it was somewhat similar to the pictures. When we got to check-in, the room was not ready. We were greeted with a warm rag and rum-punch and invited to enjoy the amenities while the room was being prepared. When it was finally ready, we had asked them if they had made preparations for us as was noted on our reservation, based on the fact that we were celebrating our honeymoon. The front desk clerks were unaware of that and no effort was made nor care taken to do anything about it. While walking to our room, we noticed how the property was sort of old with the look of an old museum. When we got to the room, there were no drinks in the fridge. We went back to the reception area and complained that the room preparations based on expectations as a honeymoon suite, was totally disregarded. It took two (2) hours after for someone to arrive with drinks for our fridge. However, we made the best of our stay, the room was comfortable and spacious, and we enjoyed the layout of the shower very much. Definitely a plus in that area. The food variety was just not good for a hotel such as this one. They should give guests way more choices as a 5-star hotel. The beach area was pretty secluded and very beautiful. For me, this resort get's 3.5. Rule #1, the customer ALWAYS comes first. Rule #2, first impression lasts. Get it together, Jewel.

This is our second time at Jewel Paradise Cove within 3 years and we love it!. We brought my folks with us this time and they want to come back again. I have been to other All-inclusive resorts in Jamaica and this is by far the best bang for your buck and the quality of one on one attention ( resort is smaller than most)entertainment is a Bonus!. We made friends with many of the workers and that is another reason why we would come to stay. Their hospitality is unsurpassed. The employees treat guests amazingly and I enjoyed every bit. We will be back for anther visit in February.

We are enjoying our honeymoon stay here at JPC and would definitely return in the future! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the cuisine could use some work. When people visit Jamaica, they usually expect native cuisine to be more prevalent. Otherwise, very helpful, friendly staff and tourists! Gorgeous grounds! Def recommend!

My wife and I just got back from our honeymoon in Jamaica . . . it was a WONDERFUL trip!!! We stayed just over a week at the Jewels Paradise Cove Resort and were really impressed by our stay. As most people, it is challenging to trust the reviews, but honestly, this place exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and engaging! The food was solid with sufficient variety--my wife and I really liked the smoothie bar! The grounds were well maintained and our room was quite spacious with good amenities. Overall, this resort is an excellent value! There may be more resorts with some bells and whistles but it had everything we needed at a great price! Highly Recommended!!

We really enjoyed our vacation here. It was beautiful, well kept, and had great service. All of the restaurants were delicious. The only food that was iffy was the grill but people really only eat there when needing something at odd times. Otherwise, there were plenty of options and all were so good! They have great free excursions that were well worth your time and they also have free shuttle surface to and from the airport! Definitely recommend this place!

Great view from room with fully stocked mini bar (complimentary). Drinks are outstanding; recommend Good Stuff or the Bob Marley. Came to do excursions but stayed on site the whole week. Enough variety of food to have different dinner each night. One large beach with palm tree shade and awesome juice bar and floating loungers. One small secluded beach; quite place to tan and read. Everyone who works here wants to make you happy and help you have the best time you can. Recommend buildings 6, 7, or 8. We were in 7. Other buildings are close to the bars and club so some noise at night.

There are two excursions included in your reservation that are very nice. Snorkeling was also included which was incredible. The food was good. Surprisingly the pizza was our favorite. Service was great. Room was clean. Overall the experience was great!

Tourist trap. It is what it is. Same crap you will find at all the other gift shops. Jamaica needs to polish up its look - every single gift shop is identical from all the others. Cheap trinkets and everything Gold, black and green.

Beautiful resort hidden on Paradise Cove in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. 18 of us from Illinois visited in early February 2017. The food was always amazing. One night we ate at the Italian restaurant located beneath the sunset bar. The seared salmon was to die for. Lots of hidden pathways, line with beautiful plants and foilage, take you past secluded coffee bars, workout areas and lead to the main pool. At the pool, there is a cool water slide.adults only so no screaming kids (screaming adults maybe). The Jamaicans are always so friendly and like to joke around with the guests.
