It is not a 3 start hotel. I used Hotwire and got this hotel. The room was tiny with chlorine excessive odor. No good hot shower and controlled heating available. Breakfast was decent but I would not recommend this hotel for the price it charges.

Facility was old and floors were not clean. The young man that checked us in in the late evening was helpful. In the morning however we saw two other get offered a to-go breakfast and we did not get the same offers despite me telling them we were trying to leave at 7 while they struggled to help us print our train tickets due what they alerted us was a slow email server. When I asked the young lady with the bottom eye eyeliner about the to go breakfast she simple replied she didn't know anything about to because it was the overnight guys job. Wow how professional. Eventually I asked we could have the same and were given a to go bag to fix it ourselves. Stay elsewhere if you can.

Great location, clean friendly hotel near Termini, supermarket next door, lots of eateries nearby. Breakfast very good, usual continental with a few additions, boiled eggs etc.free WIFI. Real towels.

Stayed here for four nights with my partner, great location, just a short walk away from Termini station. The room itself was clean, a decent size for the price though a bit unusual building, the hotel shares the building with other hotels. Breakfast was pretty average, coffee was good, no real complaints.

Scotthouse is a very convenient hotel so close to Termini railway station. If your eventi are in the city center, I do recommend this hotel, as the Italian high-speed railways do offer a valuable service. The hotel occupies the 4th and 5th floor of an ancient building, therefore you are not disturbed by the noise of the city. Rooms are small, but fully equipped, including a set for tea and a minibar with water. You also have for free the WiFi and the Sky TV equipment. The hotel is served by a spacious lift. In the morning, you can also enjoy a nice and varied breakfast. Only small issue, it seems that the walls are very thin, and the sounds of flush in other rooms can be heard also in yours (but not disturbing that much).

Good. Nice budget hotel. Breakfast and service is OK. The TV was high up on top of the wardrobe, but I didn't use it. Recommended if you're looking for more privacy than an hostel but not much more

TV was placed exceptionally high up on the wall. It's either you get a double decker bed to watch to or u tear that off the wall. No other options. The toilet Super small.

The staffs in the hotel were really lovely and approachable especially both Johns. Location wise, easily to access and walking distance from vast majority of sightseeing in Rome. Local restuarant and shopping centre, near the hotel. Rooms were much bigger and spacious. The bathrom was nice and clean (Daily towels change). I would definatly use this hotel again in the near future.
