Great central location , 1 block from metro, rooms were very clean, small which I believe is typical for Rome. Staff was not very knowledgeable about site seeing, one staff women was clueless she must have been New to the job as well as new to rome. Breakfast on top floor roof terrace was very good, wait staff was very good, dinner on roof terrace was good.
At $250 night I would think there are similar hotels for lower price.

This is a four star hotel, with a great location to serve tourists. The trevi fountain is merely a five minutes walk away, and I visited all important historical sites in Rome by foot, including the Vatican City, which is only 20 minutes away. When it comes to service, Hotel Barberini provided the best hotel I've had in Italy.

Charming hotel in a good location to explore much of Rome. Staff was friendly and helpful. They provided excellent advice when we needed recommendations for where to eat. The breakfast that's included was delicious and the staff very friendly. The dining room had a nice view of the neighborhood. Rooms were comfortable and nicely appointed. Would stay here again.

Great hotel, really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are very nice and the staff are delightfully friendly. Spa is available for hire at only 15 euros per room and is well worth it. Only shame is that the dinner food is all frozen which is very unfortunate. Would recommend though.

The rooms were very nice and the hotel staff were very friendly. Room came with breakfast buffet that would happily satisfy any hotel guest.

Clean hotel, good air conditioning. Within walking distance to almost every tourist spot. The wifi is terrible though. My phone running on 2g was better than it. It was a bit disappointing to try and relax after sightseeing all day and I couldn't even Skype my family or watch videos.
