The Milano Malpensa is in need of serious improvements in terms of customer organization, amenities, and the overall functionality of the terminal airport. When trying to check luggage, we were misdirected to stand and wait in the wrong line. There are few employees actively providing any assistance and/or guidance. The WiFi is also inaccessible even though it comes up as available when searching for a network. Lastly, when trying to board, different lanes for boarding zones are not clearly distinguishable. To top it all off, the flight was delayed for over 3 hours.

Malpensa MXP is a nice modern airport, one of the three of Milano. For me it is the most premium from all of them and the connections are really good by bus, train or taxi. It is 70 km away from Milano Centrale so a taxi fare would not be cheap.

Excellent terminal easy access. Covid-19 has reduced traffic to a minimum, sad but a great way to travel

Great Italian Airport to fly into from the United States, Malpensa Airport. (Milan) . We have also used Marco Polo Airport (Venice) as well as Fiumicino (Rome). It's a typical Italian Airport. Wonderful! Loved to fly in here usually over the Alps.

Terminal 2 is the most disturbing s***hole i have experienced. It is dirty, one toilet was full of puke there was a horrible smell all over the airport. The staff is unfriendly and I in my opinion the security measures are a joke. I had 300 ml in my bag (200ml more then allowed) and nobody cared.

Amazing that I booked your viamilano service for transfer between terminal 1&2, on 8:30AM arrived until 8:50 there is no person in the counter neither a notes explaining working hour.

Have no option but to take a taxi. After getting on the taxi and started driving the driver said 20 euro fix rate.

Terminal 2 the elder lady in counter 55 is so inpatient to take off her eyes from the mobile, keep sighing I really wish you had a good life though.

I saw my language on every board. Thank you for making these by indeed one of the worst airport service experienced.

A place dedicated to earning money from you - as much as possible. Extremely expensive shopping after passport check, even for the Italian standard. Airport is not aimed to ensure pleasant stay of passengers buy only aimed to push you to spend more money. Very unpleasant experience.

Modern airport (terminal 2) with all the facilities you need. BUT: the way to the gate is very long as its made to get along as many shops as possible. Further there is no separate passport control for the crew, which means they are always allowed getting in front of the lane and slow the process more down.

Very easy airport to get around. Signage is excellent.
Coming in was simpler than we had anticipated. Security is tight but very friendly and helpful.
Going out just as easy. General staff and security were exceedingly pleasant and helpful. Even when they are patting you down.
    Really efficient in every way.
Also loved the lighting art in the room leading to the hire cars. Particularly liked the projection at one end using a Pepper's Ghost effect.

Clean airport with proper signage to direct you wherever you want to go. Seamless fluidity between terminals(there's a bus which takes you from the domestic to international departures for free) Great shopping choices. The business class lounge is top class, complete with a family room, shower facilities, free and fast WiFi, multiple PCs for browsing but the food offered could be a little better. There's also a huge hall where they keep doing something artsy every now and then. The first time I visited, they'd put up a huge portrait of the Last Supper(something Milan is world-famous for) Another time, I was lucky enough to get a taste of La Soglia Magica(a nebulizer sprays mist on you from the top. Great airport!

Very good looking airport, neat and clean. But not so friendly to move around. It takes so much time just to complete all formalities due to the arrangement and process. I advise to reach atleast 2.5 hours before your flight time. It has good connection to Milan by both train and bus. Most of the staffs do not speak English and many food outlets are available.

My only request would be to have better signs pointing you to car rental companies. Airport looks recently renovated. Beautiful mall shops in Terminal 1B area.

Just as mentioned by so many, this is the worst airport I've been, and I'm flying 4-6 times a year to different countries. Besides notorious problems mentioned already by others, there is a very poor signage, in small difficult to read print. Directions for car rental return are almost not existent, and it is called "car hire". To make things even more confusing, there are 3 separate lots (A,B and C) for different rental car companies. Lots are totally unsigned, so you don't know where your car rental company takes the car back. There is no information on Google which company is assigned to which car rental parking lot. If you use Google maps it will lead you in the wrong spot, to a payed parking lot. It took me 5 courses around the airport, before I got to the right place.
Another problem is to fill up the tank before returning your car. Out of 3 self service (no attendant) gas stations the airport, 3 were not accepting any credit cards American or European. One (Agip) accepted cash, however did not return the change. I had only 100 Euro bill and the automatic teller just swallowed the bill without giving back 40 Euros of due change. Information was all in Italian, but even Italians had a problem figuring out how it works, swearing and kicking the teller in rage. This is the outrageous scam which for which this company should be persecuted. How better can you abuse people who are in a hurry to their flights.
