Nice hotel, but overall old and used. Room require renovation.
Good breakfast, lunch below standard you would expect from Hilton. Nice and helpful staff. Good location
We stayed for 1 night in Aug 2023. We had a family style room for 4 adults. The room is relatively clean but we did notice a few dusty spots in the upper corners of the walls and cobwebs. The room also featured two showers.
Staff is professional, efficient and offered to take our luggage to our rooms. I will also say that in our vacation tour of Italian cities, these guys have the best fashion sense of hotel attire too!
We ate breakfast at the hotel. It features a buffet style with a large variety of options and includes an omelet station. However, many of the stations had food that was poor in quality (ex: hash browns cold and not crispy, banana had an opened seam and when asked for a replacement there were no bananas left).
We travel extensively ask over the world and we love Hilton and as a diamond level member I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Hotel Milan is a 4 star hotel period it is pretty nice as far as European standards go period it's not a 5 star hotel, but it certainly is 5 star in its service, and in the people that work here.
Arc rumours claim and we had plenty of clean towels. We opted out of having the room cleaned.
The breakfast buffet was one of the best.
Our recent stay at the Hilton Milan was an absolute delight that left an everlasting smile on both my face and my 7-year-old son's! From the moment we stepped foot into this wonderful hotel, we knew we were in for something special.
What truly set this experience apart was the genuine warmth and hospitality we received, particularly from the exceptional Guest Relations Manager, Gianna. She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, especially for my young adventurer. Gianna's thoughtful gesture of surprising my son with goodies was met with sparkling eyes and a wide grin, setting the tone for an unforgettable stay.
Our room was not just a room; it was a haven of comfort and convenience. The attention to detail was evident, from the plush bedding that cradled us in comfort to the little touches that made us feel truly valued as guests. The room's ambiance exuded a perfect blend of elegance and modernity, creating an inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home.
What impressed me as a parent was the hotel's commitment to ensuring a family-friendly experience. The dedicated dining area at breakfast for children was an absolute game-changer. The variety of options ensured that even the pickiest eaters would find something they loved.
The staff's interactions with my son were heartwarming. Their genuine interest in making sure he had a great time was evident in their cheerful conversations and attentive service. Gianna's kindness extended beyond just the goodies; she took the time to share stories and even recommended local attractions that she thought my son might enjoy.
From a parent's perspective, the Hilton Milan effortlessly strikes the balance between luxury and family-friendliness. It's not easy to find a hotel that caters to both adults and children with such finesse, but the Hilton Milan manages to do so seamlessly.
Absolutely would like to come back and enjoy in very nice view from the room. Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast had the most of choices from Italian cappuccino to so many types of croissants. Staff behaved kind and welcomed us.
Great food and wonderful friendly staff. Extremely helpful with directions and understanding of the cultural differences. Recommend for sure!
Very good location if traveling to or from Milan Central train station. The front desk staff was also fluent in the English language which made check-in/check-out very easy. However, I would be unhappy if staying more than one night at this property. The hotel provided a very small room with the most basic furnishings. For example, the room had a single towel for two people and no wash cloths. As a frequent Hilton traveler I had higher expectations for a Hilton property.
Terrible experience with this property. Arrived at midnight after full day of travel for hotel to tell me they were overbooked.
1. They offered me nothing in compensation despite hassle of making me change to a different location at midnight
2. Wanted to initially send me to another Hilton property taxi ride away - said no, and they agreed to send me to another comparable hotel down the street (only thing they did ok)
3. Took them 1 hour to send an email to the new hotel authorising the charges - during which time I was not allowed to check-in
4. New hotel was 30 euros cheaper per night - but Hilton refused to refund
5. I asked 3 times to have the manager call me/contact me the next day and left my contact info. It is now 3 weeks later and I have still not heard anything
To be honest, as a premium member, I've never had this poor a service from Hilton (or any other chain). I understand overbooking, but to offer nothing in exchange is unacceptable.
This is well situated, especially for the business traveler. It's also good for tourists, being a short walk to Milan Centrale Railway station and many mass transit lines. It is professionally managed, with comfortable rooms, but hard beds. The breakfast buffet is great and the fitness center is excellent.
Modern hotel located 5 minutes from Milano Centrale train station. Nice rooms. Sumptuous breakfast, even with an oriental food corner. Friendly staffs. They were kind enough to store luggage for me for a couple of hours even when I was not currently staying there. The only thing is that during the summer they often have a band playing outdoor which can be noisy if your rooms are on same side.
They were very helpful and even provided a plug adapter free of charge for me to use during my stay.
Friendly staff. Easy check in process. Comfortable room all in good order.
Standard well-done Hilton in a big city. It's not in the heart of Milan but a tram or affordable taxi can get you there no problem. Breakfast is vast, with both Eastern and Western options aplenty. Rooms are nice.
Nice 4-star hotel near the central station. Parking is in the garage below the hotel and is an independent operation and cost more than 20 euros a night. executive lounge is nice. Friendly staff.
Fantastic hotel! Great location, and the room is very modern and comfortable. All of the staff I met were very nice and helpful. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the Milan Central Rail Station, which will take you to the Duomo and other main areas in about 10 minutes. Highly recommended!
