Very elegent hotel, facing the sea. The view of fort and boat harbour from the windows make a good combination.

Room was an older style, but very large. Service was impeccable and rooms were very clean. Right in front of the water and in the best part of Naples.

This hotel is advertised as air conditioned, a matter of importance to me in this climate. Here is my factual account: the so called air conditioning runs only from 0800 to 2300. It is set to 26 degrees Celsius with little capacity to vary it. Opening the balcony door will switch it off but this might be a better option at night if only the area were not so noisy. It is, in brief, false and misleading to call this hotel air conditioned. The truth was very hard to extract from the nonchalant hotel staff.

The rooms in the hotel do need an upgrade with some better lighting but the views, especially from the top floor, make up for everything. We have a 40m (or so) patio that was beyond words. My main feedback to the hotel would be to provide the room with drinking glasses and a corkscrew. We were told that it would be an extra charge to have one brought to our room and we were forced to go down to the bar..

Rooms were a bit dated but nice hotel with great service. Room was adequate and spacious. Sea view with the castle and street was great for people watching. Pizza and a bottle of wine at night on the balcony was lovely. Only complaint is that the air conditioning at full throttle was insufficient during the night at times. I think that I would probably stay there again.

Staff is friendly and helpful. We were out in the old building, which isn't that comfortable. When the bars and restaurants downstairs die down after 2am, it is quiet. It's kind of far from most things in the city, so you're either stuck riding public transportation or paying for a cab most anywhere.

The beds were a bit hard but the breakfast is the best! Great variety. The lovely people at reception are really helpful.
