We are a couple staying at this hotel just now, this is our 3rd night and last. Everyone has been very nice to us, the breakfast is self-service and good.
The hotel in general is beautiful, really nice pieces of art, and we love our room, not to forget how close it is of everything :Dresponse / report this review -

The service was flip the sheets bad, the breakfast was even worse. They served cake and bread hard as stone. The rooms was cold and really bad.

Had a lovely stay here! It is only 5 mins away from the train station SMN , 2 mins away from Mercato Centrale and 5 Minutes away from the Duomo. Staff were nice and super friendly. The continental breakfast was satisfactory. Overall I would reconsider staying here for my next visit in Florence!

Very old Hotel, not clean, broken furniture and floor, the size of the restroom is a joke, the restroom equipment unusable, the chair does not fit between the desk and the bed, there are no power plugs available. The pros, only one: the comfortable terrace for smoking, I could work, smoke and drink some water overnight without bothering anyone at the reception

i see the bed bug in my room!😠😠😠and breakfast??😂😂😂😂 so awful. also, the toilet(bath room) not in single room. it is out side. (but use only)
finally, room is veeeeeery dark. i can not make-up this room. + mirror is not in room.
this ho(rrible)tel for me, "the terrible memory" to my first italy trip.

Poor experience from the start. We arrived at check-in and weren't even greeted with a hello. He took the city tax and gave us our room key.
The day we arrived we noticed a bug on the wall and didn't think much of it. Two nights later we both a 7-8 large red-swollen bites. Ranging from my face to my friend's feet. The day we left we found a bed bug at the bottom of the sheets.
In additon to this the morning we left we heard yelling from the lobby 2 floors below and the same man that checked us in yelling belligerently at a man and his family, that included a small child. Also the night before he was yelling at another couple at check-in.
The hotel is in a good location, but the staff and cleanliness are horrid.
I would not recommend to anyone or have plans of staying there ever again.response / report this review -

I'd definately not recommend this place! We stayed here for 4 nights in Mid-September to explore Florence, but the Hotel kind of ruined the trip. Firstly, the staff was horrible, they were unfriendly, mean and totally absurd when it came to handing complaints. The breakfast was very bad as well, and the photos on the internet show it in a whole different way with way more food and snacks. Another point that really made things difficult is the condition of the rooms. There were pretty much no sockets and it was very old! Also you could hear everything that's going on in the Hotel through the walls.
Very bad place! My tip: Go for another one!response / report this review
