It's a small hotel, not too easy to find, but nice service! Great breakfast in a quiet court. Our room for three had real beds for three (not a pull-out) and even a balcony. The elevator stopped working during our stay, but as we were in the 2nd floor (US count) that didn't bother us. Internet was slow one nice, but you know what, for a 2-star hotel, and not even expensive in the center of Rome, we couldn't ask for more. We're definitively keeping this address in our list.
Hotel is close to the coliseum. Easy to walk across the city to see all sightseeings. Bedroom and breakfast are ok, not incredible.
excellent place and location; staying here next time
Simply excellent little hotel which is really well located and has great friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again.
This hotel is in a great location. This streetwise adorable and lined with hip shops and good food. The room we received was a good size and had a big open balcony. The staff spoke English well and was very accommodating. I would give 5 stars if the bed and pillows were more comfortable and if there was a bath tub and sink counter.
We have stayed at Hotel Artorius two times--obviously we like it. Everything about it is wonderful including the location, the rooms, the staff and even the nice breakfast that they serve.
We would not hesitate to stay there again.
My new bride and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. We went on tours to see the Vatican and Ancient Rome. We went to many, very good restaurants and saw many sights, but staying in this hotel with the people who own and operate it was truly our most pleasant experience in this city. The People at the desk, Alesandro and Luca are two of the kindest people you will ever meet, and very helpful. They recomended some very good restaurants, and made the reservations for us! They spoke English very well and when my wife cracked her tooth, they helped us find a dentist, Vital-Dent, who couldn't have been more helpful! Over-all I would give this hotel a 6 on a scale of 1 to 5, and I strongly recomend that you stay here.
P.S.: My wife LOVED the chocolate croisants at the included breakfast so much that she would wake us both up early to make sure she would get one!
