Good location, cordial staff. Best value for money. But better options also available nearby.
Nice staff.
Simple rooms with beds that were a little tough, but after long days of walking it felt nice to have my back straighten out over night. Bathroom was small, a little difficult to move around. Breakfast was simple but had a nice variety.
Friendly staff, great renovated rooms, peace of mind. Working AC, various lightning options included. Especially enjoyed the hydro-massage tub!
Good hotel for a good price to use as a base while visiting Rome for a few days. 10 minute walk from Rome Termini and 5 minutes from the closest metro station. About 15 minutes by bus to the trevi fountain and 30 minutes to St Peter's Basilica. I found the buses and metro very easy to use with the Roma Pass i bought. The hotel is labeled 4 stars but more like a very basic 4 stars. Double room was on the smaller side but everything was clean and quiet. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel that I did not try. I paid a very good price through express deals so I can't complain.
I have no complaints. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The price was right. The elevator was really tiny. I guess that's not really a negative. Use the stairs, it's not that far and you probably need the exercise. Leave the elevator for someone who really needs it. :)
Convenient location. Walking distance from termini station and hop on and hop off stations. Also, they provide a good breakfast to energize you for your long days of exploring Rome.
Nice hotel, small rooms, the AC does not work in my room (222), however the air is cool enough at night that I have left the window open to allow a breeze in. The road is quiet enough to not make it a big deal. Everyone speaks at least a little English.
Small rooms. Nice looking. Nothing special. Average breakfast. Average friendly staff.
Good location but not great
Overpriced just for Best Western Name Torino Hotel was much much better
It's about as basic as a hotel comes. The place is a bit shabby - water stained wall paper and generally tired and unloved looking.
I was booked in for 4 nights and checked after 1:
(i) the bed was far from being level. I had to prop it up with books to stop rolling out.
(iii) the wifi signal was so weak that I couldn't even send an email. I asked if there was a problem and they explained the signal was just weak (and encouraged me to come and do my work in the lobby).
They were apologetic about the experience and checking out early was thankfully not a problem. There were such better options in Rome for €75 per night - I'm glad I decided to leave.
Friendly staff that spoke English. Rooms are a tad warm, and wifi is spotty on the upper floors. However the rooms are clean, the beds are firm, and location is convenient for Termini.
