Best restaurant I’ve been to on my trip in Rome. Food is nice and price is not expensive at all. It’s no fine dining if that’s what you’re looking for.

This is very ordinary. 3/5 stars - the staff are nice but if you've been to a pub anywhere else in the western world, you'll know service and food is rushed, mass produced and a bit care free. The food is quite un-notable, and the 4.1 stars is obviously relative to other pubs - because then yes, it's pretty good if that's what you're comparing it to. But the Italian food here tastes like Italian food in Australia/America/England. Sorry to say.

Great place to stop during or after a day of touring. Wonderful, helpful service. If you don’t speak Italian, they will help gleefully, something that is much appreciated by me. Our waitress was wonderful. I regret I didn’t get her name. Red beer is good, even though I like IPAs. Salmon was awesome (recommend by our waitress) very moist and tasty. It’s located just a little off a major street heading to the “Wedding Cake”, Coliseum and Forum. Don’t miss it.

Great spot on a budget! My partner and I loved this spot. We both had pasta dishes and they were both great. The beer and wine they served us were also both quite good and came in a snap. Great staff too, our waiter gave us a few pointers for Rome.
One thing of note, there were two birthdays while we sat down and they made a big show of it. They yell and sing and bring out a sausage sticking out of a plate meant to look like a "sausage". That just gives you an idea of what the place is truely like!response / report this review -

Terrible service, took them 45mins to get us 2 plates of pasta, did not come at the same time though. Food was mediocre, but good value for money.
Guess it's better just for beers, but not for lunch or dinner.response / report this review -

The beer and food are tasty, but definitely the staff is not nice at all, namely the cashier. It ruined the whole experience.

In spite of the waiters who are fab and the food which is so-so - used to be WAY better, suppose with fame came the decline - but last night i discovered that the baldy headed coot who takes your money, is a nasty piece of work. After diner, and having spent 100€, i asked him to ring us a taxi as it was raining quite heavily. I was told, VERY ABRUPTLY, that there were no taxi's and I should walk down to Piazza Venezia, which isn't far, but it was too far to be walking last night when the rain was coming down in sheets! I ordered my own taxi and Mr NO-customer service can suck on lemons, i wont be suggesting to anyone else to ever go there. No doubt, there are loads of tourists who'll pack the place out day and night, but I actually will NEVER spend another cent in this over-rated dive again.
forgot to mention the florentine steak.over 50% fat and gristle and the feckers cut out the bit of fillet too! sure what kind of a place are they running at all!
in Brevi - servizio spectaculare, cibo - eh - troppo grasso sulla florentina - piu di meta era grasso, E l'hanno tagliato il filetto, quindi non c'era! Speso 100€, e alla fine della serata ho chiesto se era possibilie di chiamarmi un taxi - siccome stava piovendo di brutto - e la risposta della pelato stronzo era - "Non c sono, vai a Piazza Venezia! " Servizio dei camerieri era fantastico, ma quell pelato, lo duro, che nemmeno un centisimo nella mia vita lo tiro mai piu. Ho portato amici italiani, amici irlandese, famiglia e lo duro, nemmeno morta enterero in quello posto di nuovo, proprio x non dare un centisimo a quello pelato stronso.response / report this review -

We loved this place! Great atmosphere, good food, excellent beers.. the service is a bit clumsy but the overall experience was very good. Food is typical and authentic and the prices are very low. Recommended
