Great rooftop. Astonishing view. Good food. Breakfast/Brunch is a must.
Good location with very nice views. There is a roof top restaurant /bar which has a terrace with beautiful city views. Rooms are on the smaller side but nice and clean with big bathrooms.
Clean and good services. Nice roof top restaurant. Great breakfast. Walking distance to Spanish steps
Beautiful 5-star hotel in a great location. Wonderful breakfast buffet on the rooftop overlooking Villa Borghese. Rooms are larger than typical hotel rooms in Rome. Building is very interesting architecture. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Our favorite hotel on our Italy honeymoon. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They will do anything to help you out. The restaurant (La Terrassa) is exceptional. The views are stunning from the terrace which is considered one of the best restaurant views in all of Europe. The food is excellent too, and they offer a list of really great wines. This was also my favorite restaurant, even including those that were Michelin starred.
Plus: Very good service, nice rooms, good breakfast.
Minus: No pool etc., very (!) steep price(s), especially the restaurant on the 7th floor, relatively small
As tour operator I work with them as some of my clients stay there sometimes. I use to suggest it to my clients as it is a very good Hotel in Rome and its staff is so professional and kind!
Rooms are very small, the restaurant on the 7th floor provides overpriced food, which is not tasty at all in comparison to Italian food standards. Moreover, ask a glass of wine and you will see the sofitel attitude towards its guests literally they put 1/3d of glass for the price of the bottle unbelievable. Good view though guys 😀
The hotel is beautiful And well located out of the noise and traffic of the city. The staff was very helpful and arranged a private tour guide for the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's. She was well worth the price and quite charming and knowledgeable.
One complaint is the highly touted Terrace restaurant on the roof. We ate there the first night and had exceptional food but poor service. Last night we went back for a drink and sunset and waited 22 minutes for a simple drink, no food. Finally got up and left. There is a definite disconnect with the service as they weren't crowded and there were waiters everywhere.
Nice rooms and helpful staff. Upstairs restaurant is stunning. Be careful though, we were surprised to find breakfast was not included.
