Very clean rooms and attentive staff. Small showers and poor breakfast on the negative. Location is excellent. Stay here but buy your own breakfast elsewhere.

GREAT location right near the Pantheon, and walking distance to the Colosseum and the Forum. Rooms are expected size for anything right in the heart of a city. A.C. is there, and does the job, but not the best. Bathrooms are good but shower could use some improvements.

Pulito, confortevole personale molto gentile. Molto comodo per girare il centro. Vicino anche a fermate dei mezzi pubblici. Colazione comrpesa molto abbondante e variegata.

My wife and I stayed at the Santa Chiara for 2 nights in February, 2008. We arrived on a morning flight, and they were nice enough to allow us to check into our room early. Our room was newly renovated and very, very nice, up to date decor, furniture and fixtures. No more of the 70's decor that I have read comments about. Everything was luxury hotel quality. It looked like they were in the process of renovating all of the rooms. We walked to everything we did in Rome - St. Peters and The Vatican, The Forum and Coliseum, The Borgessi Museum, The Spanish Steps, etc. We highly recommend this hotel.
